Jeongin POV
We helped Seungmin to the nurse's office and watched as she wrapped a bag of ice around his leg.
"Make sure you apply ice to it when you get home and rest it as much as possible. It's better if you keep your leg elevated," the nurse told him.
"Yes ma'am," he replied.
Jaehwa looked really worried.
Hmph, she never looked at me like that before. I frowned but I doubt anyone noticed.
"It should be fine in about 2 weeks. You guys shouldn't worry too much," I quickly wore a blank expression as she looked at the both of us.
We didn't say anything but nodded in response as she gave us a smile.
"You guys can come and get him at the end of the day," the nurse said as she walked away to get something.
"Let's go," I said as I looked at Jaehwa.
"Give me a second," she got up and whispered something in Seungmin's ear and he gave her a smile.
I don't like what I'm seeing at all.
She waved at him before walking over to me. "Okay, let's go," she grabbed my arm and pulled me outside. We walked down the hall for a while as she was still holding onto my arm but I didn't mind.
I was constantly being bothered by the thoughts running through my head. I have to ask.
"Jaehwa..do you like him?"
"Of course I do."
"Oh..." I lowered my head, I'm not sure why I was expecting her to say otherwise.
"But only as a friend."
"Really?" I perked up.
"Yeah."
"So-"
"Jaehwa!" We turned around to see Hyunjin running our way.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I went to the restroom. I'm on my way back," he said as he pointed towards the restroom. "Let's go together," he smiled as he wedged himself between us, draping his arms over our shoulders.
Why now?
"So how's Seungmin doing?"
"He'll be fine. I told him I'd take him home after school. You guys are welcome to come along if you'd like," Jaehwa said as she looked at the both of us.
"So we take him home and then go to your place? Sounds like a plan," Hyunjin said.
"Who said we were going to my place?" she asked, dumbfounded.
"Please, I don't feel like going home early today," he begged.
"I mean I guess so, are you coming too?" She looked at me.
"Of course he is, if I'm there, he is too," Hyunjin answered.
"So you speak for him now?" she turned her head to give him a look.
"No, no, you're just asking the obvious."
"Well, I have to make sure," she shrugged.
We made it back to our teams and they seemed to be having fun. Jisung and Minho were playing a game with Felix, and Changbin and Chan were arm wrestling while Eunhee watched.
"Eunhee! Did you miss me?" Hyunjin said jokingly as he ran up to her.
"In your dreams," she pushed him away and walked the other direction.
