i've taken endless photos
of my body.
many are of me naked.
many people have seen
them.
but i always think back,
to when my mother made
me promise to never take
them,
and how she told me that
people needed to deserve
my body.
back then i thought it was
all silly,
but now i send them to
friends without a second
thought,
or to random guys for some
attention.
now my body isn't special.
now my body is worth
nothing.
