you know how sometimes you aren't even aware you have a paper cut until you use hand sanitizer?
then all of a sudden it hurts so much but a second ago you had no idea the cut even existed.
i think healing is like that.
sometimes you don't even know there's a part of you that's still hurt until something comes along that forces you to become aware of it,
forcing you to deal with it.
