Several Wakandan carriers flew to the crash-sight, each carrier housed more warriors than Anya had ever seen in battle. Not even the battle with Killmonger called so many fighters; but then again, this threat wasn't just a spoiled boy who wanted to be king, this battle could be the end of life as they knew it.

Natasha turned to her side and watched as Bruce in armour that Steve had called the 'Hulkbuster' ran behind them. "How we looking, Bruce?"

Bruce leapt jogging along, keeping up with the carriers, sounded utterly delighted. "Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of it. Wow! It's like being the Hulk without actually..." he stumbled on a rock, and a carrier went by, from which Okoye gave him a dubious look.

He stood back up and stretched. "I'm okay. I'm okay."

Rhodey flew above them, the glow from his helmet reminding Anya to much of Ultron. "I got two heat signatures breaking through the tree line."

The minds of the two heat sources were creepy as Anya reached them.

Their thoughts showed the mad Titan, a hideous being, one that if Anya was feeling childish, she would describe him as a giant purple alien space grape. But alas, the moment wouldn't be appreciated so she kept it silent, with the exception of sending her thought to James who shared a carrier with Steve.

The sound of his snort and laughter brought a smile to her face no matter how brief it was, it warmed her soul.

The carrier pilots swerved into U-turns, causing their craft to tilt and allowed the practiced soldiers to slide over one side into a run, never coming to a complete halt.

A Dora Milaje shouted a command nearby as the last of their side joined ranks.

Anya skipped to where M'Baku stood, his warriors chanting and banging on their drums. "MIE EFFA! YA HU! MIE EFFA! YA HU! MIE EFFA! YA HU! MIE EFFA! YA HU! MIE EFFA! YA HU!"

M'Baku, joined in the war chant, his lips curling into a smile as Anya caught his gaze. "Hello Ingelosi yeQhawe."

Anya laughed and pushed the man to the side. "I am glad to see you here for this fight."

M'Baku shook his head, "Now I can't let my friend down. Besides I love a good fight." He then nodded as T'Challa approached the duo.

T'Challa clasped wrists with his friend. "Thank you for standing with us."

M'Baku smirked, "Of course, brother."

Anya watched as the female alien, the one from James' recounting of Scotland tested the strength of barrier by drawing her sword across it, her expression of consideration.

Natasha coughed from Anya's side before she smiled tauntingly. "Where's your other friend?"

The female, who's thought supplied Anya with a name, Proxima, snarled, "You will pay for his life with yours. Thanos will have that stone."

Steve shook his head, his blonde hair barely swaying with the movement. "That's not gonna happen."

T'Challa joined him, the group of them making a line, as if protecting those behind them. "You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood."

Proxima's lips twisted into a sly smile as she ran her tongue over her teeth. "We... have blood to spare."

She brandished her sword with a snarl, and the ships behind her started raising their outer hulls, and their 'passengers' disembarked.

Anya watched with morbid fascination. Is it an alien thing or does everyone from beyond our planet like to dress like medieval characters. Come on, she looks like that witch Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty!
