Clint and Natasha woke up in the sewer system. Groaning, the two of them listened to the others over the comms and knew they needed to help.
"We are too far down." Natasha groaned as she sat up, her forehead bleeding from a gash or two. She used a flashlight that she had miraculously kept hold of, and her face fell when she realised that they were levels underground.
"We have to find everyone!" She coughed out, her sides burning as she suspected a few ribs were broken.
Clint nodded and called out, his voice echoing through the levels. "Cap?" He tensed as the hair on the back of his neck stood up, eyes narrowed in the dark expanse of the tunnel.
"Hold this Nat!" She held onto the Gauntlet as he unsheathed his bow.
Taking a breath to steady himself, he nocked a lightened arrow and let it lose; watching in terror as the tunnel lit up showing hordes of Outriders.
Clint cursed under his breath as Natasha laughed, the sound was manically insane. "Damn."
She pulled out her Glock, and her electrified baton and bolted, knowing that Clint would follow.
She threw the Gauntlet back at Clint who stashed it in his quiver as they ran, and she winked as he stabbed a pipe with a bombed arrow.
"Run!"
Natasha found another pipe which she skidded under; ducking her head as the tunnel lit up, fire eating at the sides, devouring everything in its path.
Lucky for them, that was the horde of Outriders, to which the fire had a substantial dinner. They both landed with a crash on the metal grate, their breathes ripped from them eluding them as they wheezed.
Meanwhile, Tony walked towards Steve who laid unconscious on the ground. "Come on, buddy. Wake up. That's my man."
Steve groaned as he came to, his head pounding against the force of the fall. Tilting his head, he saw Tony kneeling down next to him with his shield. "You lose this again, I'm keeping it."
Steve huffed, a small smile on his face, even though the situation didn't call for it. "What happened?"
Tony shrugged as he helped his friend to his feet. "You messed with time. It tends to mess back. You'll see."
Walking outside of the destruction and rumble, they tensed as they noticed Thanos perched on debris.
They joined Thor who had been observing the Titan for a while now. Tony groaned, stretching his back as the three of them watched the man responsible for so many deaths. "What's he been doing?"
There was dust everywhere, what used to be a proud building was nothing but ruins. Thor shook his head, his good eye trained on the mad man. "Absolutely nothing."
As they surveyed their surroundings, Steve questioned. "Where are the stones?"
Tony rolled his eyes subtly, scanning the area for Anya. He couldn't see her anywhere, which was good, it meant they were safe for now.
The glove after they had thrown it around, acting like it was a football had ended up closet to Clint and Natasha. "Somewhere under all this. All I know is he doesn't have them."
Steve smirked. "So, we keep it that way."
Thor looked up at the other two and smiled. "You know it's a trap, right?"
Tony sneered, "Yeah. And I don't much care."
Thor's eyes turned blue as electricity struck him, energizing him, "Good. Just as long we are all in agreement."
