It had been two years since she prevented the death of Nick Fury and brought James to Steve, where she knew he would be safe.
It had been two very eventful years; she hid for several months until a robot of all things kidnapped her and almost destroyed an entire city, then dying thanks to the same robot.
It had been a year since she met the siblings T'Challa and Shuri when they saved her life. At the same time, James and the rest of those she was important to, suffered the mourning and grief as they were led to believe that she was dead.
In the space of two years, she had destroyed a large portion of Hydra, brought justice to James; freed him from Hydra's evil clutches.
She had been kidnapped and almost killed, then reunited with her family, her brother and James. Now she was happily living in Wakanda, living her life out while waiting for Shuri and the news of her success. James has been in cryostasis for a month or so and Anya was surprisingly not bored.
When you live on the land, and have animals that depended on you, there isn't any time for boredom.
When she wanted a break, there was always new things to learn with Shuri in her lab.
She owed everything to T'Challa's family. His sister Shuri was a godsend, not only for helping James; but also, because her knowledge and personality; she was the kind of person that could always bring a smile to your face.
If Anya had a penny for every time, she had been dragged into a prank war between the siblings, she would be richer than the profit from all of the vibranium in Wakanda.
T'Chaka and his wife Ramonda had welcomed them with open arms, and she would be forever grateful.
Her life may have seemed boring to some, but the peacefulness of it all was what brought her joy. She woke up before dawn and went for a run that always resulted in swimming and spending an hour or so just staring at the landscape while sitting on the edge of a waterfall. Then by the time she returned to the hut she had been gifted; her goats were ready to be fed.
The goats themselves always brought a smile; their namesakes would be embarrassed at the fact. There was one which loved to headbutt and chase the local children around. He had been the goat she helped be born before James and the rest of the team came to Wakanda; during the period where she had no memory after the war.
She had named him Steve because he was always stirring shit up and causing trouble. Now he had found himself a doe, one that reminded Anya of Natasha, so she was named Nat; or 'Любовник капитана'.
There were goats that reminded Anya of the whole team, even a goat that sounded so much like the Avenger she never had the pleasure of meeting, Bruce Banner.
After the goats were fed and milked, she always joined the royal family for breakfast then would train with Okoye who had taken it upon herself to train Anya the way of the Dora Milaje, the two women quickly became friends. Anya and Okoye would hours spend training before she went to herd the goats back in their pens and help the farmers with their chores before joining the royal family for dinner.
If she wasn't working the land, training with Okoye; she was found in the labs, medical wings or exploring the country, meeting locals from the different tribes.
