Bucky sat on the couch, with a hot chocolate in his hands. It may no longer be nineteen forty-five; but he didn’t like the taste of coffee. He leaned against the back of the couch, his mind playing what seemed to be a collage of images of Anya.

Over the years, before the war and after the war, she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Even with missing her arm, she was gorgeous. Seeing her on the screen down at Tony’s labs brought a tear; a sob catching in his throat.

In attempts to clear it, Bucky didn’t see more people enter the room.

A man with thick glasses and another man who had blondish brown hair that was cut at a similar height and style of his own. Bucky didn’t know who these newcomers were, but Steve seemed to recognise them.

"Hey Bruce," Steve nodded his head to the first male, while the second headed straight for the kitchen. The man growled when there was no coffee left, muttering something about Tony under his breath.

"Clint there is more coffee in the pantry, just don’t tell Tony I told you."

Bruce laughed, shaking his head. "What projects is Tony working on that leaves the tower without coffee this time?"

Steve looked at Bucky who stared at the ground, not wanting to make himself noticeable. Steve sighed, "He is searching for a mission person and going through a lot of evidence that hopefully will be used to prove someones innocence."

Clint huffed and sat down on the other side of Bucky and just stared at him. "Is the missing person having anything to do with your friend here or is that the innocent proving evidence?"

Bucky froze, lifting his head to look at the other man. He didn’t seem nasty or condescending but looks werent always right. Steve stood next to the armrest and squeezed his shoulder. But before Steve could say anything Bruce intervened, recognising Bucky.

"Wait a second, I thought James Barnes died?"

Clint’s eyes widened while his brows rose, "Howling Commandos, childhood friend of our Captain here, James Barnes?" Clint whistled. "How in Gods name did you survive falling from a train in the Alps?"

As Tony entered the room, Steve grinned and catapulted over the couch, basically landing on Bucky’s lap. Leering at him, Steve nestled in until he was comfortable which resulted in him sprawled on the ground with Bucky smirking while crossing his legs.

"Well, that was rude Pal." Steve pouted.

Bucky laughed, "Your pout doesn’t work. Anya’s though, oh boy." He finished with shaking his head. Steve cackled, while Bruce and Clint just stared in confusion. "Yea Anya's could've melted even the Hulk out of a mood if she pouted at him."

Bruce took off his glasses, "This Anya, she was close to you two?"

Bucky nodded, his eyes getting watery at the thought of the woman he loved. "She was Steve's twin."

Clint interjected, "Wait I didn't think you had any family? I thought that after your mother died, your friend," Clint pointed to Bucky, "was your family."

Steve nodded. "Yes, Anya was born an hour or so after I was. She was never sick like I was and wasn't small either. We don't know how, but it seemed as if she had kept me alive while in the womb, but she stole some of my height."

"What height?" Bucky snorted. "You had no height."

Bruce, Tony and Clint laughed while Steve threw a pillow at his friend while rolling his eyes at the sound of Bucky's chortles.

Clint smiled, "Steve used to tell us how you were quite a ladies man. You might want to teach Steve and Bruce some of your skills and tricks."

Bucky shook his head laughing. "I tried teaching Stevie, hell even his sister would try to help by pretending to be a girl and having him recite lines."
