Bruce stood in front of Clint while Nebula fiddled around with the systems of the Quantum Suit. "Clint, now you're gonna feel a little discombobulated from the chrono-shift. Don't worry about it."

Nodding Clint made his way to the platform taking the position, as everyone crowded around to watch it happen.

Anya stood next to Tony who had been telling her all about Morgan who she knew about.

Rhodey interrupted waving his hands about. "Wai-Wait a second, let me ask you something. If we can do this, you know, go back in time, why don't we just find baby Thanos, you know, and..." he made a hand gesture suggesting that they strangle baby Thanos with a rope.

Bruce frowned, disgusted. "First of all, that's horrible..."

Rhodey raised a brow, speaking in a tone that suggested, 'come on'. "It's Thanos."

Bruce hummed and turned around trying to ignore the fact that the man had a point. "And secondly, time doesn't work that way. Changing the past doesn't change the future."

Scott cut in, "Look, we go back, we get the stones before Thanos gets them... Thanos doesn't have the stones. Problem solved."

Clint nodded, liking the idea. "Bingo."

Nebula huffed her tone low as usual. "That's not how it works."

Clint shrugged looking at the cyborg. "Well, that's what I heard."

Bruce frowned. "What? By who? Who told you that?"

Rhodey counted off on his fingers of all the movies that had suggested how Time Travel worked. "Star Trek, Terminator, Time-Cop, Time After Time..."

Scott jumped in. "Quantum Leap..."

Rhodey continued for his friend. "A Wrinkle in Time, Somewhere in Time..."

"Hot Tub Time Machine."

Rhodey nodded pointing at Scott. "Hot Tub Time Machine. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Basically, any movie that deals with time travel."

Anya spoke up, frowning. "I am surprised none of you suggested Doctor Who. Or was it just a teenage fandom?"

But then a thought wormed its way into her head from Tony and she cocked her head to the side, "What's 'Back to the Future'? Does that count?"

Tony laughed throwing his head back only to realise she had stolen his thunder. "Hey, no mind reading missy!"

Scott gasped, "You know Doctor Who but not Back to the Future? Sacrilege. Wait what about Die Hard? No, it's not one..."

Rhodey ignored Scott, Tony and Anya. "This is known."

Bruce sighed. "I don't know why everyone believes that, but that isn't true. Think about it: If you travel to the past, that past becomes your future. And your former present becomes the past. Which can't now be changed by your new future."

Nebula nodded from beside Clint. "Exactly."

Scott pouted like a child who had been Santa wasn't real. "So Back to The Future's a bunch of bullshit? Damn and here I thought Anya had a point."

Anya cried out, "Hey! Leave me out of this!"

Bruce ignored them and turned back to Clint. "Alright, Clint. We're going in three... two... one!"

Standing in the middle of the platform Clint watched as six curved conduits raised out of the podium and arched up around him. A helmet similar to Ant-Man's but white and with a more visible face formed on Clint's head, and he was sucked into the quantum.
