"use this," kurai handed you a kunai. the two of you stood on the roof not too far away from where tanjiro, uzui and the upper moon was. please work. eve if it only lasts for a minute, that's good enough. you watch as the kunai shot out towards uzui and gyutaro.

uzui duck down, slicing gyutaro's legs just as a kunai pierced his neck. you watched as the demons leg failed to regenerate. letting out a sigh, you kneeled down, picking up more kunai. you aimed them at the demon, managing to hit him with another three.

you picked up another one to throw at him, though just as you grabbed it, you felt a presence behind you. and it was most definitely not kurai's.

"[y/n]..!" uzui exclaimed, staring at the figure behind you. a hand clamped over your mouth, fingers pressing into your jaws. "you sure did a number on me man... and i do mind you, by the way." gyutaro's face was uncomfortably close to yours, his eye staring intently into yours.

with the kunai in your hand, you brought it up, stabbing the side of gyutaro's head with it. his grip on your face loosened for a split second and you slipped away. you put a safe distance between the two of you as blood trickled down your face from how his nails dug into you skin.

"man... that hurts you know..." gyutaro pulled the kunai out from his skull, an irritated look on his face. he lunged forward to attack you but you managed to use your sword to block him.

uzui appeared from behind the demon, using his sword to slice gyutaro's head off, you noticed his actions and raised your sword to help. but the demon brought his sickle up to protect his neck, a loud clash was heard as your swords rubbed against one another. "there's no way in hell you guys are cutting my head off man..." he gave a smile before turning his neck around, the bones in his neck let out an audible crack at the unusual angle. he bit onto the tip of tanjiro's blade, hauling the boy's movements.

"brace yourselves!" uzui warned. gyutaro released an attack he used on tengen earlier to free himself. resulting in splitting the three of you up. he had let go of tanjiro's sword, but still had you and tengen's blade connected to him.

"[y/n]! uzui-san!" tanjiro called out as the three of you crashed into a house with brute force.

you let out a pain groaned as you pushed yourself up, feeling a sharp pain in your right leg. you quickly pick your sword back up as you looked around to find gyutaro. though he was already fighting uzui. ignoring the pain in your leg, you ran towards them.

"what a pain... you demon slayers are such a pain man... just die already would ya?" you must have missed something because when you reached where they were at, you saw uzui laying on the ground, unconscious. one of his hand was sliced off as blood flowed out of his wound.

"ah... uzui-san..." you panted out, "uzui-san..!"

"i already said it man... you guys aren't leaving this place alive," gyutaro muttered, scratching the side of his face.
