you were confused as you left the store after paying. soon after, that guy, laughing like a maniac came out too.
this was your sign. gotta run. "Hi!" you turned around to see that guy, smiling brightly at you as if you knew him.
"what...what do you want?" you took a step back. "what? oh, ahh, we're from the same school, see?" He pointed to his clothes.
you took a sigh of relief but just because he goes to the same school doesn't mean he's not a pervert.
you still kept your distance. "I am sorry, I'm zuko." he takes out his hands from his pockets and put his right hand out for a handshake. you looked at his face, and then at his hands, scared, a bit you only shook with his fingers.
realising that he creeped you out, he let out a small laugh, "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable, I was laughing at a friend of mine." he puts his hand back in his pockets and that smile doesn't leave his face at all.
"that noodle head is your friend?" you asked, correcting your posture from what it was when this guy scared you.
"noodle hea-" he once again let's out a laugh, leaning his head a little backwards. "you guys sure have great nicknames for each other." he sniffles, trying to hold back his tears. just how much this person laughs?
"what?" you asked, confused. "ah? nothing." he shook his head, that smile not leaving. "umm, anyway have you eaten?" you shook your head. "wanna eat together?" he asked.
why on earth would you wanna have lunch with someone you just met, plus if that person is this sus.
"how about ramyun? at this convenience store?" he pointed at the store behind him.
that was actually a good idea, you were hungry. ramyun is delicious, plus you ain't going anywhere far for him to murder you.
you slowly nod your head thinking of the possibilities what he could do to hurt you.
"great!" he head back inside, gesturing you to come in.
you picked up a instant ramyun and he did too, both paid and sat in the store making the ramyun.
when the ramyun was ready and you opened the lid, it felt like as if none of the world's worries exists. it was just you and-
"damn so good!" he opened his ramyun's lid.
and him.
meanwhile, sakusa felt bad for leaving zuko like this at the store so he decided to walk back to him.
when he reached the store he saw the most unpleasant view he could have ever seen. his friend having lunch with someone who's trying to kill him.
but why did it feel so wrong. sakusa felt betrayed for unknown reasons.
"pathetic."
he walked away.
