SINCEthe day was tiring, he ate whatever his mother stored his refrigerator with and made his way to his bedroom.
The walls of his bedroom were aesthetically white. That would bring peace to his mind as he stared into empty space.
He gently took of his slippers and lied down on his bed. Lately, for the past few weeks, he had difficult time falling asleep for his dreams were hard to decipher and even harder to put into words. He, himself couldn't understand one thing but it was always about a person. Someone who'd he never encountered. A girl without a face, always covering her face. Sometimes with a branch of a tree or standing, facing the other side or with her hands over her face.
but it always felt like she was someone within in. Too familiar but he had no idea what she looked like. It was weird, too weird for him to think about a girl, because he was the kind of boy who couldn't stand anyone's presence near near. He simply wanted to be alone.
But those dreams were too real to be just a dream. He'd try to remember what he dreamt of but all he remembered after waking up were little, tiny pieces which were useless to even think about but strangely, he couldn't think of anything else.
This was becoming such a distraction to him that he needed another distraction to get his mind off those useless dreams.
He sighed, turning to his right side closing his eyes, hoping to fall asleep as if he wouldn't try to connect the dots until he fall asleep.
the path seemed endless and the day was bright. He felt tired, as always. There was no one as far as eyes could see. His eyes searched for a presence, to let himself know he's not alone. His heart suddenly started racing.
He turned around to see a girl standing afar. Afraid, he took few steps forward to see who she was. He fasten his pace but the distance between them didn't get any closer, she was as far as she was first when he turned around.
He tried to reach the girl unknown to him but it was useless. He stopped to take a breath and noticed that girl turning away as she laughed and ran away.
"Beep Beep Beep" the alarm woke Sakusa up. He panted hard when he woke up. He had no idea it was a dream but felt glad once he woke up. He got up from his bed and made he way to the bathroom.
He brushed his teeth, looking in the mirror as an image came to his mind of him if that girl laughing and turning away.
He shook his head and got ready for school. He just hoped for the dreams to come to an end so he could continue to live his life like before; the peaceful way.
