"HEY, could you please help me?" Her voice was soft, the way cotton candy is.
No. I won't help. The girl's voice seemed worried, a bit breaking. Seeing a girl cry would be the last he'd wanna see, not because he's soft or anything like thay, but he didn't want to see those tears rolling down, mixing with runny nose and sliding down the cheeks. Ew.
He sighed, showing obvious signs of being disgusted as he opened his umbrella. "I'll have to walk you home?" The un-willingness to do that was written all over his face with a permanent marker. The girl nods and he sighs, yet again.
He opens his umbrella and motioned her to walk. Being in the space with another human being was suffocating him but they already started walking and he couldn't leave her behind now. He waited for a miracle to happen, least for the rain to stop so she wouldn't have to listen to her stuffy nose.
Wait- isn't she the girl from that day? The one who fell down? The one who seemed like she'd die with all those germs all over her when she fell. Disgusting.
"You're that weird stalker guy, right?" Her voice was still brittle as she sniffed. Wait- there's no emergency, she's just sick. What the fuck?
Sakusa kiyoomi was sharing an umbrella with a sick person, he almost felt this heaviness in his head that made him lose vision for a couple of seconds. He moved away a bit, letting his shoulder be wet, it seemed way better than to be close with this sick girl. What to do? What to do? What to do? His head was spinning just like a ballerina.
To get his mind off his thoughts that made him to in instant depression he decided to talk. "So you didn't die that day."
"People don't die from twisted ankles." She lets out a laugh and that micro-second almost felt like a déjà vu. Like it had happened before, he was so sure of it that he wanted to see her laugh again to remember with whom he had laughed with like this.
That mere second suddenly felt like an eternity, Sakusa felt this weird heaviness in his heart for no reason. He shook off his head as he sighed.
He nodded as a response to her answer as they kept walking. The time really ticked tocked slowly, in the speed of a turtle, like they were on a walk to eternity. A never-ending road. The more he wished for it to end quick the more time it was taking.
Until one moment she stopped walking, and so did his thoughts when he noticed the sky cleared up and he closed his umbrella and stepped back from her and into his personal space. "Thank you...a...mmm"
"Sakusa kiyoomi." It was a reflex action.
"Oh, thanks Sakusa! I'm y/n"
I never asked for her name.
He smiled with close lips as they said their farewell and walked towards their own destinations.
I am never doing that again.
