the morning came with memories of friday and y/n dreaded to go to school. it was too much. the memory of you confessing kept playing again and again making you feel worse. you didn't take rejection well. you thought the fact he haunted you in your dreams might be a universe's way of telling you that he might like you too but boy, you were wrong.

it was pain, only pain getting ready for school, and when you looked out of the window, it made it even worse, it was raining. you sighed.

you closed the door and opened your umbrella as you walked towards school. suddenly his words, "you need to accept me as i am" came to your mind and you wondered what he meant by that. he never clearly said he liked you too so why does he care whether i accept him or not.

and you also realized you didn't dream of him this weekend. did the universe wanted you to be rejected for nothing?

after school, when everyone was leaving the class, collecting their umbrella, by the time you reached to grab your umbrella, you saw that none was left.

"wha-" did someone steal????? this never happened! you blamed your luck, it only added more to your anger and the moment you think nothing can go worse than that, something else tops it. life was incredible.

you sighed, biting your bottom lip hard to stop the tears from flowing you made your way to the lockers.

should you run? it might help the crying and nobody would notice your tears in the rain. it would help you letting out your emotions. you let in a deep breath as you readied yourself to run. as soon as you put your one foot forward, ready to sprint, already tears escaping your eyes, someone caught your wrist.

you felt your heart stopped for a nanosecond as you turned around, already crying.

the vision was blurred but how could you not recognize sakusa. you sniffed as he dropped your hand.

"you're crying?" he seemed worried, looking down at you, his eyebrows furrowed.

you sniffed at his response, rubbing your eyes with your both hands, wanting to clear your vision so you could have a better view of the man standing before you.

"did something happen?" his worry was visible on his face

'bold of him to ask that.'

"nothing." you managed to let out. the school was almost empty.

"did someone hurt you?"

'you'

you shook your head. "then why are you crying?" he lifted up your chin with his index finger and forced you to look at him. didn't he know how hard it was for you?

"its- its-its raining and someone stole my umbrella and now i have to walk home drenched in rain." it was barely audible but sakusa caught the words.

he bit his lip, do guys do that? to stop from smiling.

you sniffed again, "you're laughing at me!" you moved a step away, almost leaving the shed when sakusa held your shoulder and bring you a bit closer.

"I am not!" he lets out the laugh he was holding in and for that split second you were in awe. how could you not like this guy, he is beautiful. it was calming to see him laugh even though he was the reason behind your tears.

he opened the umbrella, "can i take this lady home?"

you thought for a moment, a lot of thoughts crossed your mind, is it okay to share an umbrella with him?

"please?" he insisted.

you nodded.
