the confusion hit you like a truck. nothing has bothered you this much. you were worried about your dreams already and now this? this was too much.
the periods flew by and finally the lunch break came. your friend was busy so you decided to go to zuko to watch him play and know more about what you were feeling. so after you finished your lunch, you walked to the gym and sat on a bench after greeting zuko.
you watched as the team played volleyball and for the first time you noticed sakusa. he had a rhythm. like he was the heart of the team. you saw him running everywhere. you were in awe in how I'm sync he was in the game.
the whistle blew and the boys ran here and there for water, you noticed sakusa running towards you. wth.
looking here and there, nervously you gulped down the air, he came close to you and picked the bottle next to you as he proceeded to sit down and drink like a crazy person. he was close to you, you couldn't help but notice the sweat on his body as he drank the water.
"what u looking at?" he wiped his mouth as your eyes followed his movement.
"eh? no...nothing." you quickly removed your gaze.
"you look worried." he looked at you as he searched for the bottle's cap on the bench and accidentally touched your hand.
you felt like you could faint any minute now, it was uncalled for.
" n.. no! I'm not!" you defended yourself for no apparent reason, standing up, grasping for air.
"okay." he stood up, towering over you.
"what you guys talking about?" zuko showed up from behind.
"what the f*ckis this? why the hell are these people so f*cking tall?
you moved away from the both of them and took in a deep breath. you didn't come here for this. this was making you even more uncomfortable, nervous. you came for answers to feeling this way and somehow was walking away with even more questions.
