A WEEK passed and the dreams started to become a bit clearer. The un-faced girl of Sakusa's dream starting developing a face, no, just features. Sometimes a smile, or eyes.
like she'd cover her eyes and nose, showing her wide smile or sometimes she'd cover her mouth, looking straight into Sakusa's eyes.
Right before waking up, Sakusa had a dream of that girl sitting down on the stairs of the school, unable to go home for unknown reasons. He wanted to approach her from behind, for the thirst of his curiosity but his feet failed him, like everytime.
Other students passed by her, not even acknowledging her existence. The fact that he couldn't reach her made her furious in a couple of seconds. That he woke up. Panting, like the most of the night.
He checked the clock, it was 5 am. He sighed as he pulled away the blanket and got off his bed. He knew he won't be able to sleep now. The anxiety got the best of him, he was stressed. The dreams made no sense, he wished, prayed for them to not come for they made him uncomfortable, wanting to reach another person made him uncomfortable.
He decided to practice volleyball to get his mind off the dreams that kept making him lose his mind. He gently threw the ball on the wall of his room and when it bouncef back, he stretched out his arms received. Time passed and when he checked the time. It was 6:30 already. He'd been receiving and throwing at the wall for one and a half our now, unknowingly, lost in his thoughts although he did it to escape them, but whatever he did, his thoughts would find him everywhere.
He sighed as he shook his head and got ready for school. He stretched his arms to relax his muscles and wore his tie and walked out of his room.
He usually skipped lunch but since he was awake early this morning, he decided to make himself a smoothie, which he enjoyed on his way.
He carried an umbrella since it said it would rain today on the news and anyone dumb wouldn't carry one.
The day at school was the same as always, him, anticipating his time to play volleyball until he finally got to. While playing in the court, he noticed that it started raining. He wasn't surprised, he came prepared. The day went quickly and the bell rung.
The practice was over and he took a small shower before leaving the gym, when he noticed a girl standing at the gate of the school, cursing random, probably at the sky? the building in right across the road? the rain?
He wanted to walk right by her but somehow, that scene reminded him of his dream, it was quite weird. There was this teeny tiny side of him wanting to help her out but the most of him was like, it doesn't concern him in anyway and that major side won as he cleared up his throat and walked straight for the gate.
The moment he was about to step outside the school, his jacket was grabbed by someone. He immediately felt out of breath at the fact someone almost touched him. He quickly shook off his arm to his that person's hand off himself and looked at that person.
