I had passed out not long after the black haired boy had left. I didn't realize how exhausted I was.
I had awoken to voices in the room.
I decided to pretend to stay asleep. I kept my eyes closed, listening intently in on their conversation.
"You're sure you found nothing when you searched for a Kaitlyn Frey?" I recognized the voice as the black haired boy.
"Nope, no one." This voice belonged to the boy that I had seen first before the black haired one. "There's no Kaitlyn Frey in any mafias around here."
"That still doesn't lower my suspicions" the black haired boy said frustratingly.
"Why can't we just kill her?" I didn't recognize the voice this time. It was another male.
"I want to know who she is before we do" the black haired boy told him.
"Chase we know who she is already" the boy with the shaggy hair said. "She's just an innocent girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time"
Hearing him say those words lifted my hopes. They had finally realized I was no one they wanted.
"I can't just let her go" the black haired boy said. "She's gonna run to the police the first chance she gets."
I wanted to speak up, swear to him that I would keep my mouth shut. But I remained quiet, still listening as they talked.
"That's why we kill her" I heard the unfamiliar voice urge. "Easy peasy, she's out of our way."
I heard a sigh, then some shuffling.
"I might as well bring her back to the mansion. We'll keep her there until we figure out what to do with her."
It was hard not to move. I wanted to beg the boy to let me go. I would almost say I'd do anything for him to let me free.
"You guys go get the car. I'll wake her up and get her ready" the black haired boy said.
I heard moving and the slam of the door shutting. The black haired boys footsteps echoed as he approached my non-sleeping figure.
I suspected him to slap or kick me awake or something, but he did nothing.
I could sense him standing there infront of me. I could feel his gaze on me, studying me.
I felt overly uncomfortable knowing he was staring at me. Finally after what seemed like forever, he shook me.
I did my best acting job of awakening. He looked the same as he had before, with his black hair tousled in front of his face, like he had just ran his fingers through it.
"I found out that you were telling the truth. You're just a girl who stumbled into the alley" he said.
"Are you going to let me go?" My voice sounded awful. It was scratchy and hoarse.
"No, you're coming with me."
I dreaded that answer. A million pleads formed in my head, but I decided to restrain them.
"Where?" I questioned him.
"You're coming with me back to where I live. I'll keep you there, see what I want to do with you."
A smirk crossed his face as he spook. "Maybe I'll even get to have a little fun with you too."
My heart sunk at his words. Fun with me? I did not want to find out what his idea of fun was.
"Look, I won't tell anyone about what happened" I told him. "If you let me go, I'll never even think about the incident again and you and I can go our separate ways."
He tilted his head, looking over my face. It was almost like he was amused.
"So if I let you go" he inquired, crossing his arms over his chest. "You'll just forget about the situation, and never tell anyone what you saw?"
I looked up at his eyes, staring into his back orbs. "Yeah?"
He grinned, showing his flashing white teeth. "You're not a very good liar Kaitlyn."
The little hope that had started to burn in my chest went out like a light. There was no way out of this.
He uncrossed his arms and stepped closer to me, grabbing a knife out of his pocket in the process.
Oh no, not this again.
"I'm going to cut you free and take you to get cleaned up before we go to the mansion." he said.
"What's the mansion?" I asked him, still staring at the knife to make sure he didn't make any suspicious moves.
"It's where I live" he told me.
He was taking me back to his house? The thought made me realize I would do anything to get back to mine.
"When I untie you, don't try to do anything. Trust me you'll regret it" he warned.
Should I try to escape? I didn't like my chances against him but I had to get out of here.
He came and cut the ropes around my hands and feet. I rubbed my wrists where the ropes had been. It left a burning red mark.
I tried to stand. I stumbled and fell onto the floor. I instantly felt nauseous once I had stood up. I rembered all the pain in my body.
"Get up" the boy ordered me.
I groaned as I slowly and cautiously stood to my feet again. He grabbed my arm and walked me to the door.
I felt dizzy. How was I going to escape. I had no doubt in my current state he would overpower me if I did anything.
He opened the door which led into a dark hallway. There were many doors lining the walls, all which looked identical to mine. I'm guessing there were multiple torture rooms.
This was my only chance to get away. I saw a set of double doors at the end of the corridor. They weren't that far away. It was my only possibility.
I stepped out into the hallway and immediately bolted. I ran towards the doors. I slammed into them but they didn't budge.
Shit. They were locked.
"What did I tell you about trying" the black haired boy said as he came up behind me.
I banged and pounded at the door, hoping they would open or someone would hear me.
"You're not going anywhere" the black haired boy said, grabbing both my arms.
"Let go of me!" I yelled at him. I tried to pull my arms away but his grip was steel.
"Shut up or I'll make you shut up" he growled.
I stopped thrashing. There was no use trying. I was stuck with him, whether I liked it or not.
