Chapter 20 "Cause and effect"

The two days has passed which means Michael should be coming back to us. The last two days has certainly been difficult to sleep through. Between Michael trying kill himself and him confessing his love to Oscar and them two kinda tying the knot for being together. I guess and effect of all this is me becoming all stressed out. The time was 3:30am and my phone started ringing CartexzCat said *good thing it was on silent or everyone would've waken everyone up.*
It was Della.. "Gosh this can't be good I said to myself."
>phone call start<
C: hello dell
D: I'm amazed you're up at this time
C: same to you
D: we got to talk, Is everything okay because I heard everything that went down.
C: everything that went down ? What you mean ?
D: stop playing dumb I know you know what you talking about Michael trying to commit suicide because of you
C: fine I know. Yes I know that happened. I didn't do it on purpose I love him with everything I ever had with a guy otherwise than with ozzy. *begins to cry* but none of that matter because me and Michael broke up and he's now with Oscar
D: I'm sorry to hear that. But you're coming home and going back to suffolk
C: what?! The semester doesn't end until May. We're still in March. I'm not failing I show you my grades and everything.
D: I already started transferring your records back to suffolk yesterday. Got your plane ticket ready and everything. Me and George is coming in two weeks.

C: But what's about my friends, my classes.
D: I don't want hear it. I don't want you to get distracted with this whole thing so I'm bringing you home.
(Phone call concluded)
I begin to cry. Then Drake wakes up and say "Craig ? You alright ? Why are you crying?" I cried his name "drake! I...I im leaving canton." Drake hop out of bed and brought me to the hallway and pinned me against the wall and said "why are you leaving Craig? Is it because of Michael?" I was crying to hard to the point I couldn't speak I fell to my knees and Broke down. Drake got on his knees too and grabbed my shoulders and said "look at me." I look into his piercing blue eyes which was starting fill up with tears. Drake continued and said "please don't go carter I don't want you too, you gave me confidence again. I love you." He took me into his loving arms and just broke down. I said "I'm sorry drake..." Drake just said "it's not your fault I promised... Don't apologize." I wrapped my arms around him again and said "I love him, you guys mean the world to me."
We walked backed in the dorm. Honestly talking to drake made me feel a little bit better. I got in back in bed. It was quiet I said "um drake? You still up?" He said "yeah I'm not trying to wake lexxy why what's up ?" I blushed and asked "drake can you sleep with me tonight?" He responded and said "*sigh* carter I don't feel that way anymore towards you." Cartexzcat said * man that's a sentence I wanted to hear this week some more ...😒* I said "I mean yeah I know drake, I mean I don't want to be alone...please I want to cuddle." Drake got up and got inside my bed. Wrapped his arms around me and said "of course Craig I know, I'm kidding. When I said I wasn't going to leave you alone I meant it.. I love you best friend." And we fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up in drakes arms. He was staring at me with an worried expression. I said to him "morning drake. Did you sleep well." He looked down and said "I didn't sleep much, I kept having nightmares about you leaving, carter I really don't want you to go." I hugged him and said "I don't want go either. Say can I call you something drake?" He pouted and said "Craig I already have a feeling what it might be but I don't know surprise me." I smiled and said "I'm going to start calling you drizzy" drake chuckled and and said "I knew you were going to say that.. But I love you still so I'll let you." We both started to laugh, he grabbed my hand and said "it kinda feels like the first night you and Michael came here." I said "yeah it kinda does but we're missing one thing." Drake said "yes I know...come here." He gently stroked my cheek and kissed me." Then Nick got out of bed and began to stretch and said "morning guys, say why you two in bed together ?" Drake said "Craig had kinda a rough night last night and wanted someone to snuggle with." Nick said "yeah Michael should be coming back today I'm so excited." It's 10:14am. Alexis wakes up and said "Mmm that's was a good sleep I deserve it after the yesterday finishing on our first track. Right drake ?" Drake was staring into blank space and said "huh? Lexxy?" Alexis just pouted and said "drake you seem a bit distracted lately. Michael is coming back." Drake turned his head to me and said "yeah it's not that... but I will say this one may be coming back but one is also leaving." Alexis said "drake what's are talking about (turns to me ) Craig what's going on?" Then Nick said "yeah what up with you two?" Then I said "guys I got something to tell you guys.... Nick ...Alexis ..Nicole im leaving and transferring back to suffolk." Alexis mouth dropped and Nick looked like he have been shot. Alexis said "wait what?! You're going home...but ..but why ?" I said "my parents found out about the situation that went down with Michael and they don't want me near him or to get distracted with him around." Nick said "but carter they're two months in the semester and what about me and Nicole's graduation we all promise to make it." Nicole said "that sucks Craig...we want you to stay." I said "I know we all the mutual feeling of me staying." Then Michael and Oscar walk through the door. I call his name and hug him tight. All I can do is literally cry. CartexzCat said "I don't care if ozzybear is there or not. I miss this and I can't believe I almost lost you forever." Michael said "Craig..." Then he gently grabbed my face. I noticed that he never took off our promise ring. I took mine off my hand but wear it as a necklace. Oscar asked "why is everyone so silent and seem like someone died?" I felt drake on my shoulder and pulled me off of Michael and punched Michael and said "you're the reason why he's going." Michael fell to the floor. Michael said "what the hell is your issue?!" Oscar is at his aid. Alexis yelled "stop it drake! It's not his fault." Alexis and Nick pulled drake away from swinging at Michael again. Then Nicole said "Craig is leaving canton because his sister doesn't want him near you or to be distracted by you.. Know what it is kinda your fault. But we don't hate you." Michael asked "Craig.. Is this true ?" I nodded my head yes. He said "I see.. I'm sorry Craig.. I really am. Everyone I'm sorry you have every right to hate me. But drake I swear I have half the mind to hurt you." Michael jumped up and leaped at drake. Then Oscar yelled "everyone stop it!!! Alright Michael fucked up. We all get it. Carter is leaving because of Michael we get it now we can't stop it..he's leaving. Think about it, instead of fighting and complaining and crying about him leaving. Why don't we use this time that we have left with Craig and spend it with him and make some memories.?" Drake said "he's right..in sorry Michael I lost cool." Then extended his hand. Michael shook his hand. Then Nick said "Craig..? These two weeks are you what you want to do.?" I looked Nick and said " lets finally go out to eat and celebrate Michael's release and drake and Alexis record deal." We all agreed and left to IHOP.
Everyday of that week we went out our pay checks were going so we stayed in for the two days. Nick was helping me pack because drake was with Alexis at the studio and Oscar was with Michael and Nicole. Nick said "damn.. I can believe today and tomorrow morning is the last days im going to see you." I stopped my folding and said "yeah Nick I can't believe it either. I just rather not talking about. Nick I really don't want to go, I like it here." I hugged him and started playing with hair "I love you..." Nick said he sounded like he was about to cry. I hugged him tighter and said "Nick you're my big teddy bear. I love you. You protected and looked after me from day one. I wish I can stay with you the most honestly." Nick is so warm I could've fallen asleep in his arms. Nick said "Craig you're like family to me all you guys are. like I told drake I'll always be there for you and protect you."
