Chapter 15 The arrival

(The story is told by the point of view of drake.)
After Nick called my phone I just waited more patiently for my mother and sisters arrival. Then my phone started to ring again it was Alexis.
*phone call start*
A: hey hunny I just got home
D: that's great babe how was the ride ?
A: it was okay just bumpy and my brothers being their usual
D: ah okay
A: are you in back in Russia yet?
D: nope the plane came a bit late
A: oh no Hun it's 6:30pm how about you swing by my house for the night in leave in the am?
D:nah I promised I'll be there tonight or today and I'm not breaking it. But thanks for being concerned. But get settled in I'll talk to you soon. Alright babe
A: okay baby bye.
*phone call concluded*
I was starting to get tired. Then I got up from my seat and began to stretch. Then I heard " draaaaaaaaaaakkkkke!" It was the voice of Anastasia. (My four year little sister) she ran to me and jumped in my arms. I spun her around and said "awe Anastasia I missed you so much it's been way to long. Where's mom?" I put her down she said "oh mommy she behind I left her when I went to the bathroom. I was going to go back to her but then I saw big bro. She should be with dad."
I said " dad?! Is here really ?? I didn't see our dad since high school when mom got me the car." Then I heard " Anastasia ! Don't run away from mother and father." Then I saw my mother and behind her a man with green eyes short brown hair. Fair skin color. That not my father and he and mother had rings on. Then my mom came to me and hugged me and said "oh drake I missed you much." I hugged her back and said " I missed you so much too, say mom can I talk to you?" She began to get pale in the face.
She looked at me. I began to tear up and said
"mom who the hell is that ?, that's a ring on your finger."
My mom looked around and said "drake that's your new father. His name is Antwan Charles. I met him 3 years ago."
I said "you waited as soon i Graduated highschool and left to college to look around from someone. You know me and Anastasia still like my dad. What about our original dad?

Then my mom said "listen drake I know you and Anastasia still love your dad. But dammit I hate that man for walking out on us after I was pregnant with Anastasia. What the hell you wanted me to do huh? Stay single forever drake.
I looked down and said " mother I can accept you dating him. But you can marry him and not invite your own son to the wedding because you were afraid that this was going to happen. Mother how could you. I hate to come back to you like this but .. I'm just hurt right now. I swear if Nick and his mom wasn't staying with us I'll go to dads.
Then mom said "I'm sorry drake I didn't tell you about my marriage. It was a foolish thing for me to do. But drake give him a chance he's a really nice guy." Then I began to cry a bit more. Then she said "ohh Nick stop crying please, dear I love you. Then she hugged me. Then Antwan called my mom over to him and she left my aid then Anastasia came next to me and kissed me on the cheek and said "drake you don't like new daddy do you?" I shook my head yes. Then she put her arm around me and said " he's not a bad man drake.. You should give him a chance... Please I don't want to loose another family member I already lost one father I don't want to loose my one and only brother." Then she skipped back to mom and Antwan. Then I walked up them three and said "sorry about that guys I had to talk to mom about something lets go home. We started to ride home. We made to my house Nick took my parking spot 😒. I walked through the door and Nick jumped up and yelled "draaaaake!" And ran up to me and hugged me. My mom came up to them and shook there hand and said "my name is Linda I'm nicks mother and I'm in forever in your debt thank you so much I'll pay you rent at the price you name." Then my mom shook her and said "please to meet you linda my name is fiora im actually quite happy you and Nick staying with us and I also see you two brought a cat." I turned to Nick and said "can I talk to you ?" Nick nodded his head and said "sure thing. And we headed to the kitchen. Nick sat down and said "what's on your mind?"
I sat down next to him and said "I know you don't like your dad and everything." He looked down and said "yeah drake I'm not liking this conversation but yeah your point." Then I continued and said "my mom got remarried while I was at college and I can already tell I don't like him I just don't know the reason." Nick started running his chin and said "hmm I don't see anything wrong with him considering I only met him 12 minutes ago." Then I just sighed and fell back against my fridge and said " my little sister loves him apparently my mom tells me and my sister says." Nick looked at me and asked "you have a sister." I said "yeah of course I do want to meet her ?" Nick smiled and said "yes please..." So I called Anastasia in. She said "yeah drake.." Then she blushed and stared at Nick. Then she chuckled and said to me " drake don't do be rude who's your friend?" Then Nick laughed and said "hey Anastasia my name is Nick." And shook her hand. She blushed and said "hi Nick you're really pretty.. Cute. Are you from Hollister ? Are you majoring in modeling?" Nick laughed and said "please to meet you and thanks i appreciate that. No a guy can wish but nope I'm a just a regular student." She just dreamily gazed into eyes and said "wow you're amazing can you be my boyfriend?" Nick laughed and said "sure thing cupcake." She just said "he called me cupcake." And hugged Nick. Then I said "Anastasia me and Nick got to talk. Go show Nick how you look in cat pajamas." She said "okay be back in the flash." And ran out the kitchen. Then I turned to Nick and he said "bro I thought she was around our age." And shot a smug look at him and said "nope. I love playing with your habit." He got up and said "I know you do but go on with your point of pulling me in here." Then Antwan walked in the room and said "hey boys are you excited for the holidays because i'am." I said "yeah me too I guess. Then I grabbed nicks arms and said "come on Nick your sleeping with me tonight I mind as well show you our room. " Then we left the kitchen and Nick said "well damn you really don't like this guy." I looked at him and frowned and said "is that noticeable ?" Nick just shook his head yes. We made to our room and I shut the door and locked it. I pinned nick agonist the wall and began to cry in chest. I cried "dammit this not fair it's happening all so fast. Why wouldn't she tell me." Then I felt Nick wrap his arms around me. He felt so warm. Then he said in a gentle voice (the most gentle I ever heard him speak ) "don't worry Nick everything will get better in time, he may not be your birth dad but he'll probably be sad you get to like maybe a guy of your dreams. Then he grabbed my Chin and I looked at him and began to blush. He smiled and I smiled and back at him. I hugged him and said "thanks Nick I needed that I love you. I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting you."
Nick playfully pushed me on my bed and said "I love you too but enough of the mushy talk. Are we having our ladies and Michael and Craig over for our get together on New Years." I answered "I'll talked to my mom about it shes cool with it but we can't do nothing crazy until after Anastasia is out for the night." Then Nick said "oh yeah she's not going to want to sleep that night knowing I'm here." Then I said "despite her being infatuated with you she's a light weight when it comes to staying up.
Then Nick said "alright bet but I got one question. There's one bed here. Although it's it's queen size but...." I said you're sleeping with me on opposite sides if you desire." Then Nick rolled his eyes and said "*sigh* fine I'll do it but if it doesn't work out im hitting the couch." I said. "Deal." And shook his hand.
