Chapter 7 "The promise letter"

"Can you believe we don't get off for thanksgiving break." I said to Michael. He chuckled and said "Craig so? We have a good two or three weeks til thanksgiving actually swings around." I said "that's true but you don't understand how hectic thanksgiving cleaning is for me and my room is a total wreck." Then he said "how about after class we drive to your house and we can start cleaning your room. How's that sound ?" Then I said "sounds like a plan." Then smiled and he gave me a peck on a lips. So we proceeded to have class. After class I met him up at captree. He looked at me and said "ready?" Then I pointed in the direction of his car and said "let's do this thing." Then CartexzCat said "this is going to be torturous." So we began to drive we eventually made it to my house. (Thinking to myself)
*sigh* I've been pretty upset lately cause it's been almost three months since me and Oscar broke up. He would always do this cleaning thing with even before me and him were dating. I just wish one thing is that's when we broke our relationship up that we haven't killed our friendship we had. But he had to have a crush on Michael in hindsight I kinda caused it to happened .
Then Michael said "Craig?! We're here, you've been spacing out a lot lately. Have you been getting enough sleep?"
About to cry "yes I'm fine!!" And run out the car into the house." he said "wait a minute Craig!" I ran into my room and slammed my door. (Good thing no one was home or I would've died) and then a jar fell from my shelf in front of me that contained a lot of letters. I turned it around and the label read "read if jar ❤️" it was the read if jar that Oscar gave me on our three month anniversary. Then Michael started knocking on my door and said "carter please let me I want to help."
I ignored him and opened the jar and saw all the letter except three I never opened.
1. Read if I get you mad
2.read if we get into a fight
3. Read if we break up
So I began opening them in that order I removed blue envelope.
"Hey Carter,
I'm sorry if you're mad with me but there is times when I'm mad at you too, to the point I want to drop everything and leave but then I realized this is what relationships go through. I'm sorry Craig these three months mean a lot to me and I'm hoping to we can get over this and make more lol. Craig honestly I'm not scared to say I love you.

Then Michael said "please let me in carter. I'm sorry if I did or said anything wrong."
I stood up at my door and stared at it and was about to grab the door knob but I just stopped and proceeded to open the other letter.

I know we just got into a fight and I'm amazed your reading this but I don't like to pick fights with you. But please hear me out well read me out. Relationships don't break up like this. I know I can be ass sometimes. I feel stupid. But I love you Craig please don't end this remember why we said yes to go out with eachother.

CartexzCat said "what should I do ? What should I do ? I want to open the next letter I do remember why I said yes he's the best in my eyes but Michael I'm treating him like shit and I know he's going to flip if he's sees me getting emotional over Oscar considering I said I was over him the second month.
Now I'm seriously crying. Then I said
"Micheal ..? " he said " yes carter, you're crying I'm sorry."
Then I opened my door and Michael just stood in front of me. I nervously inched myself to him and hugged him and started crying in his chest. He hugged me back and started petting my head. Then he said " what's been going on lately hm? Carter?" I said "I've been upset lately cause around this time in the month me and Oscar use to bond a lot around this time and clean like we was suppose to do." Then he said " I figured as much you usually don't flip on me like that unless it's about Oscar."
What's with these letters on the floor then I tuck the unread one in my pocket. Then Michael walked me to my bed and he laid down and pulled me in top of him. There we laid in silence to find out Michael had fallen sleep but I noticed that he had cried himself to sleep. I must've broken his confidence. But I carefully fussed around to get the letter out of my pocket without waking him. I successfully got the letter and opened it. Finally "Read If We Break Up..."
Dear Craig,
We might've broken up and most likely you probably found someone else considering how much of a bombshell you are. I'm most likely the reason why we broke cause I can be and dick or an ass or I made a stupid mistake choosing my girlfriend over you. Honestly I prefer you more considering you opened my doors to something new. I total forgot to mention how beautiful are to me and little emotional punchbag for each other. But I'm sorry carter that we eventually didn't happened but I wish we did. I'm sorry for all the grief that I caused you. But if you can see it in your heart I want to start over completely and forget all our past memories and make new. I got to talk to someone about this cause I'm official missing Oscar. I can't talk to my parents about this because their totally bias about this.( cause they dislike Oscar for trying to make me smoke.) so who will I talk to ? Then CartexzCat said "how about Alexis and eddy ?" Hmmm that's does seems like a good idea because I need some major help.

A:hello?
C:...hey are you and eddy busy?
A:no why you sound like you about to cry
C:i'am kinda am upset I need to talk you two I need some relationship advice
A: sure. You and Michael got into a fight ?
C: sort of .. We're coming we be there in 20 minutes
A: 20 minutes ? It's takes a least 45 minutes to get to my house from where you live.
C: heh, not the way Michael drives trust me

C: but you need to have eddy distract or keep Michael busy while we talk he already in a sleuthing mood.

*phone call concluded*
I started shaking Michael. "Mikey..mikey wake up" then he looks at me and say "mmmm... Alright what's up." Then I look at him flirting and said "baby.. Do you want to go to my friend house?" He looked at the clock that read 4:37pm. Then he said "fine, who's your friend ?" I said "Alexis."
Then he laughed and said "oh the one that went to pilgrim sate with us ok I know where she lives." CartexzCat said "I'm sorry Michael...I'm so sorry I hate im playing you like this,you're being too good to me."
So we're on our way to Alexis house. We were stopped at a red light. I turned to him and go to kiss him. Our lips touch but he put no movement in his lips. I said "oh comeon kiss..." He just smirk and I just whimpered and kissed him again. Still no emotion. Then we continued to drive. We made to Alexis house. I showed Alexis the letters and she "I think you give Oscar another chance and it seems your in love with him still. I nodded my head in agreement. Then she said "I say shoot him a text and meet up with and talk those letters over with him. I said "alight that's sounds like a plan." Then we turned our head and seen how greatly eddy and Michael are getting along so we stayed for a while.
