"General Jongin. General Krystal. The counsellor awaits you."

"Yes!" The two knights made their way to the counsellor.

"There you two are," The counsellor sat cross-legged on his seat. Many papers and maps in front of him. He is the one who creates the war strategies in this kingdom. "I have an important mission for you two." Receiving a mission from him personally is the highest honour.

The knights stood firm and proud next to each other.

"Apparently the princess of Baekje could survive and has escaped. I want you to deliver her to the castle," He commanded them. "Dead or alive. It doesn't matter."

"Counsellor," The male knight spoke up. "What is your business with the princess? I do not believe she is a threat to us in any way."

"And I appreciate you for thinking, Jongin but that's my job."

"Yes, sir. My deepest apologies." Jongin bowed 45 degree.

"You can rest easy." Krystal stated. "We are not to fail you, sir."

Jisoo had a deep sleep when she felt the girl in her arms squirm. It was already pitch black, she had no idea what time it was. At first she shrugged it off but Jennie kept moving. It slowly woke Jisoo up.

"No..."

"Please no..."

"Father...General...."

Sounds like she had a nightmare. The thief contemplated whether to wake her up or not. She didn't want to disturb her sleep since they needed all the rest they could get, however this didn't appear to be a sleep worth having.

"No...please..."

"Help...general...."

"Trojan..."

Okay, what the fuck? Jisoo rolled her eyes. Why did she call for the horse instead of her? Does she like him that much?

"Jisoo..."

The brunette clung tighter onto the raven. Her nails grazing her skin.

Way better, she thought before she mentally slapped herself. This wasn't the time for such thoughts. She gently placed the girl down to lie next to her, then nudged her arm with a finger.

It didn't wake her up because Jennie only seemed to get more terrified with the loss of Jisoo's warmth. Her whole body was shaking and tears rolled down her chubby cheeks.

That's more than Jisoo could take, so she started shaking her by her shoulders.

"Princess...Wake up, princess..."

The princess opened her eyes. She seemed disoriented. She looked around randomly, panic flickering in her eyes.

The raven hugged her immediately. "You had a bad dream. It's okay now. I got you."

Jennie began to understand, the panic faded away but a low sigh escaped her lips as she buried herself in her arms.

They sat like that for minutes until Jennie calmed down and stopped whimpering. They proceeded to lie back down side by side, both looking up to the ceiling.

"...Do you want to talk about it?" Jisoo asked, breaking the silence.

Jennie nodded. She took a deep breath because talking about it, means acknowledging it.

"I dreamed about yesterday... about the Chinese. I was too powerless. Weak. Useless. I couldn't do anything. They killed everyone before they went for me..."
