𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕣/𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕣𝕕 𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟 𝕡𝕠𝕧

the blonde made to stay as far away from humanity as he could manage. in these types of moments was where his overwhelming thoughts loved to eat him up, causing this void in his soul to grow bigger.

so many what if's made its path into his mind. what if beomgyu wouldn't forgive him? does he even remember him clearly?

what if yeonjun tells the whole school about what happened if he tried to talk to beomgyu? the whole school would believe him anyway and he doesn't even know the whole story!

at times like this, he was scared of everyone, his thoughts made him so.

he hopped on the next bus he saw and allowed the vehicle to drive to the last destination, where no one was going. unlike most mentally unstable people, he didn't have a safe place to go. no where was safe enough. nowhere was safe enough.

he moved where his feet pointed to and soon found himself in an isolated forest with trees surrounding him in every direction. vines crawled up the trunks, decorating it in the nicest matte for clothing.

sunlight could only make its way through the middle of the entwined stems and made the light look green in colour, so giving the place an overall eerie but beautiful feeing.

'no matter how much i smoke here it would never infect these trees, they've been growing for so long'  taehyun thought. and so the latter got out his lighter and cigarettes and lit one carefully.

he placed one slowly to the his thin, pink lips as he breathed in the smoke and nicotine, filling his system for a short instant. he sat against a tree and continued to smoke that cigarette, his first one of the day.

smoking was a coping mechanism for him. it's almost like the smoke talks to you instead of your thoughts. its blackness represents your pain, floating into the air. at least that's what he liked to think about it.

he knew it wasn't good for him, but he had almost  nothing to lose. he lost his family, most of his friends, his love and now he just had to lose himself.

he suddenly had the urge to keep on visiting this place every time he felt alone. the sunlight would be his brother and the twisted vines, his friends. he would tell all his troubles to his new family and they would absorb his anguish in and get rid of his sorrows for ever. he would relieve his pain here.

it's like his body knew where to go before his mind could process it, and it led him into the arms of nature.

looks like he had found his safe place after all.

it was the end of the school day at HYBE Academy and huening kai was going holistic by the minute, no, second. he hadn't seen taehyun at lunch period or any of his classes. the duo had two lessons together since they had the letters k and a in their name (k a i kamal huening and k a ng taehyun) and he hadn't turned up at all.

but then he remembered his strategy. he didn't tell the older because he kept the application hidden on his phone, but he had downloaded a tracking app which he connected to his phone to track the latter down whenever he would disappear from society.

in one situation the blonde managed to walk from Seoul to neighboring village town where he stayed in the corner of the bustling market place, occasionally stealing food from the street vendors.

the younger (huening kai) couldn't find him until two days later where he found the blonde sleeping in a haystack in a farm not far from the village he (taehyun) had stayed in.

you can plainly see huening kai's troubles with the older boy. his day was bound to get worse with the missing blonde.

he immediately ran out of the school just as the final bell rung.

he was going to encounter a long journey.
