the three stood awkwardly for a few seconds before soobin opened the door, entering the room first. yeonjun had to drag beomgyu by the hand into the room as the younger was still recovering from his momentary shock.

"hi...," the oldest said, sheepishly smiling as the other two made the entrance into the room. the black-haired shook his hand out of his hyung's hand, making a disgusted facial expression.

the headteacher, mrs song chirpily sang,
"welcome to HYBE Academy! you must be choi yeonjun, soobin and beomgyu! it's a pleasure meet you all!" she stood up from her desk and went over to shake all the boys' hands. beomgyu looked in awe at the place, he was already loving school life.

her office wasn't like the standard, old-fashioned office. it was big in size, with triple glass-paned windows, picturing a perfect view of the capital city of Seoul. the room was littered with lush, comfortable chairs and cushions were dotted on top of them.

"thank you miss for the warm welcome! we came here for our timetables?" beomgyu asked politely.

"of course, it looks like that i'm getting used to all of you after all!" the headteacher laughed. she had the brightest smile and it radiated the room, everyone had to break out into a smile.

"looks like you all have your classes together, you're all lucky you all have the same surname," she announced, studying the papers. "you can walk into your first class now, the school map is attached on the back, and the staff know you all are new here," she said.

the trio thanked her before heading to their first class: physics. soobin held up the middle finger against the door as they walked near, making yeonjun giggle.

the black-haired frowned, "physics isn't sooooo bad," he dragged.

"of course it isn't, you find it so easy,"

"yeah, i actually study-,"

"shut up."

yeonjun said, silencing them both, even if he wanted to see where it would go. the latter knocked on the door, beomgyu pouting and crossing his arms, his bangs flying up every time he sighed out.

"come in," they heard the second time today.

the whole class gave their attention to their saviours who had disrupted their lesson. beomgyu felt his face get read from embarrassment but ignored it for now and composed himself internally.

"ah ha, our new students!" the male teacher, mr lee, said, looking at the three chois. "please introduce yourselves!"

mr lee had led the boys to their seat and by total coincidence they were sitting next to each other:
soobin on the end, yeonjun in the middle and beomgyu next to him.

although to his right side, he was sitting next to the same mysterious boy who had bumped into him that same morning. his head was down and his hands underneath the table, most likely going to work on his phone. he seemed in a daze, eyes lit up by the phone's light, almost like he was not mentally present in the classroom.

the black-haired, felt intrigued by this boy, like the boy's face was strangely familiar.
he tapped his shoulder, but didn't get a response. the latter pouted. beomgyu tapped a little harder this time, before the boy slowly turned his head to look at the boy, not in the eyes though.

"hi," the elder whispered, "i'm beomgyu, what's your name?" he gave a reassuring smile after, but the boy didn't buy it. he turned around, and gave his attention to the board that he had taken no notes from.

beomgyu pouted a little before turning back round to his notes. he had learned to write under timed experience but was a bit annoyed at how the teacher changed the slide so fast.

yeonjun, on the other hand, had seen the boy's face when he turned around, and widened his eyes as he inspected those eyes as he looked into them, the red glint present like all those years ago.

i haven't decided the plot fully bear with me

i hate this chapter it's so short, i can't guarantee longer chapters but i will try to develop my writing skills
