the cohort of students filed out of their respective rooms, through the many or small amount of corridors, depending on where they were residing for the week, and met up at the lobby room, located in the ground floor of the managed property.

taehyun recognized many of the people present, good and bad to him. there was sunghoon and jake, of course, but they were talking with yang jungwon, a fellow junior student who was about two years younger than the blonde, and another person who had amethyst purple hair and quite a mature voice despite his face. taehyun had not seen the aforementioned before, but he was quite sure that he was a freshman, the person definitely looked the part.

he also saw some of the seniors who were graduating in a few months time, kang yeosang, jeong yunho, choi san and jung wooyoung to name a few. there were also some other seniors which he did not know or remember the name of. the latter had also spotted lee heeseung, who was his former bully and second source of never-ending depression. his first? himself.
the older did tease him every now and then but didn't come near him anymore, at least frequently. he was the one who spread the rumor (which was obviously false) about being possessed or some other shit taehyun didn't remember. he couldn't be bothered, at least the latter did the blonde a favor of driving unwanted people out of his life.

he gripped his two cigarette packs and lighter in his hoodie pocket - yes he was that addicted and wasn't planning to stop anytime or for anyone, even if he knew it wasn't good for him - as everyone's eyes stared him down as the girls were silently fangirling at how hot he was. he almost stopped in his tracks when his round, dark eyes reached beomgyu's curious ones. the black-haired felt blood rush to his head as he caught a migraine before wincing slightly.

huening kai called him over, as he was now talking with the other juniors that taehyun saw earlier. the latter dug his hands deeper into his pocket before walking over to his only friend and the others invited. he thought extremely awkward as they talked about anything that came to the minds and laughed at the silliest of jokes. the blonde even wondered how huening kai got here.

the leader of this rebellious group, which happened to be heeseung, led all of the juniors and seniors outside to the bonfire that they would be having that night. taehyun wasn't looking forward to the night that laid ahead. he covered himself with his hoodie, brushing it over his shoulders before it reached the top of his head and and fiddled with his cigarette packs before following the other people outside.

the mini assemblance made their way through the deep forest that the place had to offer. twisted trees and dark shadows followed them ahead as they continued to draw closer to what looked like to be the party's location. the place wasn't even that for ahead when everyone heard a breaking of a tree branch. they saw that the biggest tree out of them all, an ever grown coniferous tree, had fallen down with a deafening noise and the branch had snapped in half, covering the path of them to go back. the party would have to look for an alternative way back.

taehyun cursed under his breath as the others moaned and groaned in displeasure. however, no one was willing to spoil the party mood and therefore they continued their journey - their short journey - towards the place they would have the time of their lives.
