beomgyu, taehyun and huening kai made their way to the school's newly-built graduational hall of their school, which was under construction a few months ago. even though it was fresh out of the oven, it was so well manufactured, even with some months to build. all the students were excited as soon as the news of the addition to the school spread like wildfire among the ears of the pupils. now it was complete, the frst class would be graduating there.

the building was huge, colossal, with chairs decked from top to bottom, so many seats it could host a little concert of five thousand poeple inside. there were two aisles leading to the main stage and and pair of exits either side. the stage, made of sawn timber, was painted with a glossy undercoat to give it a sleek, sheen shine. there were three lecturns placed on the farthest sides of the stage, and one in the middle, where the headteacher, mrs song, would be speaking.

the ceremony was to be held in the afternoon, hopefully with the blessing of the sunny weather. the soon-to-be graduates arrived a little early to practice speeches and certain orders, for example when they head on stage.

---

seniors of second year and some astounding first year students were all on edge behind the doors of the small community hall close to the graduation hall. one of these to name was choi soobin, as the head of the leadership board, bang sihyuk, had met up with him and personally asked the blue-haired to create a speech for the precedented and important ceremony.

the aforementioned strolled up and down the space as yeonjun watched him with a nervous face. he had never seen soobin this stressed before. the latter he knew was always smooth with words, always knew how to give advice and comfort others with just a few words, that held so much meaning behind them.

the pink-haired didn't know what to do, so he walked up to his boyfriend and held his wrist softly, making him stop in his tracks abruptly.

he cupped his cheeks, smiling when it formed the slightest squished expression on his face. yeonjun went on his tippy toes and kissed his lips gently, before staring into his soulmate's eyes, shining a beautiful blue like streaming comets skipping across the sky.

"stop being nervous, soobin-ah, you're good at talking. one sentence and you've won everyone over. i know this day, that moment on that stage means so much to the both of us, but please remember,

i will always love you, no matter what."

---

the graduation ceremony had commended, mrs song giving her introductory talk and presentation of prizes to second-year students had been awarded.

the students of second year had finished their respective speeches and the few pupils of the first year, soobin as their representative, was up for his speech. the audience clapped for the latter as he edged near the stage, climbing the stairs and reaching the middle lecturn, placing his paper down with shaky hands. remembering yeonjun's words earlier gave him comfort and with that in mind, he started with these words,

"hello everyone, and welcome. my name is choi soobin and i am a transfer student that arrived at HYBE Academy about a year ago. it's amazing how fast time flew, and now i'm standing on this stage, at the end of my school journey. my short time here has been absolutely the best i would ever think it was, i wouldn't change this experience for anything else. as any normal person would be, i was nervous to the core, especially after experiencing homeschooling for two years. there was so many thing i was worried about before transferring here, but the inclusive community made me feel like all my insecurities were gone, like the scars were never there in the first place. i don't have much to to say here except that i am extremely grateful for how this school has taught me, and how much i was able to give back to it. for all the people who supported me through every hardship, and celebrated with me through every reward, thank you, any you know who you are. i can see why they say that your school life is the best part of you life. you make lifelong friends, true friends that will stand by you for as long as they are there, and learn lessons that no other phase of life can teach, both academically and morally. there will be a time where all of us here will look back on our school life, and have some things we achieved and some regrets. but at the end of the day, we will we enjoy look back at this valuable time, and see it as an opportunity to grow together. as a wise person once said, 'the moment is temporary, but the memory is forever.'  thank you."
