I woke up to my alarm going off. This jenky little alarm clock I found on the side of the road. Thought maybe it would help, but the sound is atrocious. Gives me nightmares.
I rushed out of bed and threw on some clothes, "BOYS! Get out of bed, come on!".
I went and knocked on Ava's door.
"Yes?" She opened the door.
She was all dressed and ready for the day.
"Don't know what I was expecting" I went downstairs.
Ben and Ty came downstairs, Ben in nothing but boxers.
I sighed, "Ben get some fucking clothes on".
"You've seen my bare fucking ass" Ben glared.
"When you were two years old. Grow the hell up and go put some clothes on like your brother".
Ben groaned and went upstairs.
"God," I started making breakfast, "Kid is 19 years old and doesn't know how to put clothes on".
Ty laughed a little.
"At least you were... Nevermind. What're your plans for today?".
"Not sure," Ty sat down at the kitchen table, "Might just... go hang out in town".
"With Ben or?".
Ty nodded.
I sighed, "Don't...steal anything".
"No promises Jess".
"God fucking damn. Please, I don't need to bail you out of jail today, or tomorrow, or ever. When do you work next?" I asked.
"Tomorrow morning-".
"Happy?" Ben came downstairs.
Fully clothed.
"Yes, now you can go pickpocket people with your brother" I joked.
"Ha ha, very funny. I don't pickpocket people. Nor does Ty. That's just... weird" Ben sat down beside Ty.
"All ready for school" Ava came down the stairs.
"Can you check and see if Juli is ready?" I asked.
Ava went to the closet.
"How much longer is Julian gonna live in a closet?" Ben lit a cigarette.
"Seriously! No smoking in the house. At least, not while Ava and Juli are here".
Ty and Ben both went out the back door.

"Jess seems bitchy today" Ty sat down on the steps and pulled a smoke out.
I lit it for him, "Probably because I came downstairs in my boxers".
We laughed a little.
"So, what's the plan for today?" Ty asked.
I shrugged, "I'm going to go work on a project with Alice today".
"Alice? Alice Groves?" Ty looked up at me.
I nodded, "Yep, the one who seems to hate my guts. Scary fuckin younger brother".
Ty smirked, "That's the one".
"We'll see how that goes. If I don't come out alive, tell Jess she's a bitch".
Ty rolled his eyes.
