"Would you sit still?!" I growled and Genji groaned, hugging the chair back tighter.
"It hurts!"
"If I can survive my body forcibly becoming a tiger, you can survive a piece of synthetic skin being placed on your back!" I argued and he sighed, gritting his teeth as I continued to use the lamp to seal the skin onto his metal.
"How's it coming?" I looked at Jack as he came in then nodded.
"Almost down, just his neck and he's got a full body of skin-"
"Uh, well, mostly." Genji said and I eyed him.
"Am I missing somewhere?" I asked and he nodded.
"Where?" I asked then he cleared his throat.
"Well, uh- Angela!" He squeaked and I looked at Angela, who took a deep breath.
"To sum it up, his buttocks was literally torn to shreds, so he has plating." She said and I slid back, looking down to his ass to see metal plating sticking out of his pants.
"Right, of course." I whispered and Jack snorted.
"Have fun, Laina." He said and I smiled.
"Course, Jack!" I smirked then he left and I looked at Genji.
"Your choice-"
"Weird to have skin everywhere but my ass, Laina." He said and I nodded.
"Angela-"
"Already ordering it." She said as she typed on her tablet, making me relax slightly.
"When that comes in, we'll worry about it." I said and finished with his back.
"Ready for the neck?" I asked and he nodded.
"We can stop-" He shook his head then I nodded, putting the gloves on and grabbing the skin for the neck, carefully wrapping it around his throat and grabbing the pen so I could seal it in the back.
"This is going to hurt-"
"It's fine." He said and I eyed him, but turned the pen on and began sealing his neck, hearing him hissing. As I worked, I saw his fingers clenching the chair tightly and knew he was trying to keep it together for my sake. When I was done, I sat back and saw sweat on his brow.
"Here, turn towards me." I said and he swiveled around as I grabbed a rag, wiping the sweat off him.
"Look at that, you even sweat normally now." I smiled and looked into his brown eyes, his scarred face on display.
"Would you like to have these fixed, or-"
"No, I like the scars." He whispered and I nodded, feeling his breath hitting my lips.
"Ahem!" I jumped and looked at Angela then cleared my throat, sliding back and standing, going to my desk.
"All that's left is your jaw and a-ass." I said and looked at him, seeing his metal jaw on display.
"When do you want to do it?" I asked and Genji's cheeks reddened, making me realize my implication.
"The jaw! I meant the jaw!" I said and Angela snorted.
"Uh, how-how about after lunch?" Genji managed and I nodded.
"After lunch." I said and quickly walked out, forcing my heart to slow down. While eating, Genji came in then we caught each other's eyes, which made my heart race.
"Laina!" I jumped and looked at Brigitte and Hana, who had been talking to me.
"What?" I whispered and Hana looked at Genji, who was using his new armor from me to cover his skin for now. We were going to surprise everyone at the Christmas party next month.
"Oh my god, look at you two!" I looked at Hana again then saw her looking between us.
"There's nothing going on between Genji and I-"
"We didn't specify who, Laina." Brigitte grinned, making me growl.
"Shut up, we're just friends!" I said and she rolled her eyes.
"We see you two off in la-la land when either one comes in a room!"
"Besides, he was the most upset when we thought you were dead." Hana added and I looked at Genji as he sat with Hanzo, Jesse, and some new guy named Zenyatta. As I watched the men laugh and joke, I saw Genji's brown eyes shift to me since his faceplate was off. Our eyes once again connected and I felt the beast inside me settle, as if content to have Genji's eyes on me.
"LAINA!" I jumped and turned back to Brigitte, though everyone looked at her concerned.
"I hate you." I said and stood, setting my fork down and walking out.
"Laina, wait up!" I turned then smiled as Genji caught up to me, his faceplate on now.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he held my elbow and I nodded, smiling at him.
"I'm okay, just distracted. Did you want to do the jaw now?" I asked and he nodded.
"Why not?" He said then let me go and I led the way to my workshop, watching him sit as I got my gloves on and grabbed the skin and the pen.
"This might hurt, since it's your face." I said as he set his faceplate down, but he nodded and laid his head back on the chair.
"I'm ready." He said and I took a deep breath, putting the skin into place and turning the pen on. As I began sealing it, I heard him whimpering and saw his fingers clenching the arms of the chair so tightly, I thought he'd break it.
"Genji." I whispered and moved the pen back, making him look at me.
"It's okay to stop-" He shook his head and I nodded, trying to think of a way to make this more bearable for him. I took a deep breath then stood and straddled his thighs, making his eyes widen as he felt my weight.
"Don't say anything, it'll mess up the seal. Just-just grab me if you need to." I said and he nodded, his hands sliding off the arms and holding my hips instead. I smiled as I leaned over him then I began sealing the skin again, entirely focused on this singular moment.
Brigitte's POV
"Lai-" I stopped as I walked into her workshop and saw the sight in front of me. Sitting in the chair was Genji, who's head was back as Laina laid on him, both of them completely clocked out. It looked like Laina was straddling his lap, but his arms were wrapped securely around her waist as her head laid against his left shoulder."Oh dear, if the old ones saw." I whispered and went in, grabbing Laina's blanket she kept in case Genji fell asleep in here and covering them.
"Try not to get cramps, you two." I whispered and shut the lights off, locking the door as I left.
