That's Genji's voice. I heard it, through the haze inside my mind, I heard Genji's voice calling out to me. I could hear a lot of other voices as well, but his was standing out.

"Don't let that creature control you, don't let that man control you!" His voice yelled. It was like a hand reaching through the fog, grabbing me, and yanking me free. It was like he had managed to reach past the walls of the beast and free me as the world came into focus. As I looked around, I saw Jack, Genji, Hanzo, Reinhardt, McCree, Angela, Roadhog, Junkrat, a bunch of soldiers, and the disfigured form of my supposedly dead father.

"Laina, please!" Genji pleaded, tears lining the bottom of his eyes. I huffed through my nose then stepped closer to him, seeing him swallow hard as Hanzo stepped closer. Except I turned instantly and ran at my father, tearing his throat out and ripping him to shreds with my claws.

Genji's POV
I had seen death, heard screams as the people were dying, and I had seen blood. I had never seen a perfect predator kill with such grace and beauty, heard such screams, or seen blood flying everywhere like it was as Laina tore into her father. I saw the soldiers aiming at her, but a giant hook shot forward and killed the guards. I looked at Roadhog as the hook flew back towards him then he huffed like an angry boar. I looked back at Laina then saw her huffing as she stood there, her front half covered in blood.

"Laina?" I called, careful of the predator she was. She whirled around to me and I actually took a fearful step back so I wouldn't be her next prey.

"Laina, come on! It's us!" McCree yelled, but I heard bones cracking. I watched as her orange and black fur slowly receded, the tail shrinking into her tail bone, her hind legs stretching out to long porcelain legs, her pink hair tumbled over her shoulder, and her muzzle shrunk to expose her beautiful face. As her naked human form fell to her knees, I jumped forward and caught her, cradling her closely in my arms and seeing the blood on her chin.

"Laina?" I whispered, hoping she recognized me as she looked up and softly smiled.

"Genji." She breathed, falling against me.

"Get me something to cover her!" I yelled over my shoulder, hugging Laina tightly as she curled into me.

"Here." I took McCree's sarape then wrapped it around Laina, who was shivering from a cold fever she had going on now.

"Let's get you home-"

"I'm sorry." She whispered, but McCree snorted.

"Ain't nothing to be sorry for, darling, you protected us all." He said as I gathered the girl in my arms, standing and holding her close while turning to the others.

"I can take her in the side car-"

"Ride would be too rough on her, Hog." Junkrat said and Roadhog nodded.

"Then best take her in the ship." Angela said and came over, touching Laina's head.

"She's got a cold fever, I will help her when we are in Junkertown." She said and I nodded, carrying Laina to the ship.

I smiled as Laina let Angela cure her cold fever then I noticed the tattooed tail of something green with scales peeking over her shoulder.

"Laina, what's on your back?" I asked and she looked confused, looking over her shoulder.

"Hanzo, help me roll her." I said and my brother came over, helping me roll Laina on the bed inside her shack. As we exposed her back, I stared at the tiger and green dragon that covered the expanse of Laina's back, even covering her scars. I also noticed a spot of blue where the tiger's eye would be.

"What in the hell is that?" McCree asked, but I shook my head as I reached forward, softly touching the tattoo, which wasn't a tattoo.

"It's not raised like a tattoo." I said and Laina groaned as Hanzo helped me roll her back onto her side.

"Laina-"

"It wasn't there this morning." She managed with a rough voice, giving me a soft look.

"I don't know-" She stopped as she coughed, but I smiled and brushed her hair back.

"It's okay." I said then looked at Jack as he stood in the doorway.

"We need to get her back, she's getting worse here." I said and he nodded.

"It's a twelve hour flight, we'll get back tomorrow if we leave now-"

"She can't handle twelve hours in the Aurora." Angela said and I looked at Laina, thinking of a way to help her.

"Get out." I said and looked at the others.

"I can help her, but you need to go." I said and they nodded, leaving the shack. I waited until I heard the door on Roadhog's and Junkrat's shack shut before I stood and closed the curtain to her bed space in her shack.

"Genji?" She breathed as I turned to her, but I smiled.

"There's a green dragon and a blue eyed tiger on your back, that isn't a tattoo. I think it holds a deeper meaning than either of us realize." I said and leaned forward, softly kissing her head. I sat up, stopping as she whined, then saw she already looked better.

"Wait, do that again." She quietly pleaded, making me smile as I kicked off my shoes and climbed in next to her, hugging her close beneath the covers.

"Better?" She nodded and I noticed some color coming back to her cheeks.

"I think your beast and my dragon knows something more." I said and she grinned as she turned to me and hid her face in my chest.

"I've missed you, Genji. I'm sorry-"

"It was my fault for forcing you to lie and hide. You were right, we're happy together and we shouldn't hide. Let the world know that we're happy together, whether they like it or not." I said and she looked up at me with wide eyes and a small smile, though she was holding back her hopeful look. I could tell.

"Are you-"

"Come back to Overwatch, Laina, with me, and we'll show everyone just how happy we are together." I said and she let out a soft laugh as she hugged me tightly, nodding and pulling me down to kiss her. Not that I stopped there once I realized my touch and her being near me helped her get better.
