I stared at the ground, my arms resting on my knees, thinking of nothing but Laina. The lounge, for the first time ever, was silent as everyone sat together.

"What happened?" I looked at Brigitte, but Reinhardt spoke.

"She-she was dizzy, but she said she was fine. As she left, she just-" He stopped when his voice cracked then he held his head, Lena's hand on his shoulder.

"No one just drops like that though, right?" Lena asked and I went to speak, went to say something, but nothing came out.

"Laina?" I looked at Mei then she softly shook her head.

"Genji, you called her 'Laina'." She said and I nodded.

"It was her name, her true name. Not 'Wrench', not 'Girl', Laina." I whispered and smiled to myself as I remembered Laina's laugh, her smile, her sparkling blue eyes in the sunlight, things I'd never see or hear again.

"I have reviewed the footage, Commander Morrison." Athena came over the speakers and Commander cleared his throat as he nodded.

"Show us." He said then we looked at the TV as the video came up.

"Alright, your legs are done." She said and the me on the video smiled at her.

"Guess pants are a requirement now as well." I joked as she tossed me some sweats.

"Weird to think I've been naked this entire time." I said in the video as I put the pants on, but I watched her putting her things away.

"We'll finish with your back, neck, and arms tomorrow." She said as I stood on the video, getting my shoes on that I was wearing now.

"We-we could order a jaw piece." Her silky voice told me, though it hurt my heart to hear it, knowing I wouldn't hear it ever again.

"Could you?"

"I'll place the order tonight." She informed the Genji in the video as Reinhardt approached her. They softly argued about something, but I watched as he turned his head away and she gripped the table top, saying something Reinhardt obviously hadn't heard.

"Wrench?" Winston in the video called her, but she shook her head and looked at the ground behind her.

"I-I'm fine." She said, which was an obvious lie, but it was silent on the video for a moment before she stood on her own.

"See? Fine." She said and went towards the door, but the video cut out there.

"So, she really just fell?" Jesse asked and I stood, going to the windows before everyone saw my tears.

"Genji." Hanzo's voice softly said, a warm hand touching my shoulder.

"I-I should have seen she wasn't fine." I whispered and looked at him, but he shook his head.

"You could not have known."

"We just saw it, Genji, she was fine and there were no signs something was wrong." Commander said and I nodded.

"But, I-I'm supposed to be able to-"

"Are you a doctor?" Angela asked, making me shake my head.

"Then there is nothing you could have done that wasn't already-" She was cut off as a loud, animalistic roar sounded through the base, making everyone freeze.

"What in the living fucking hell was that?!" Jesse cried, his hand on his gun.

"That came from the infirmary." Lena said, which turned my only thought to Laina. I took off first, running for the infirmary with everyone behind me, but I slid on the ground as I got there.

"What the fuck?!" I heard as I stared into the infirmary. Laying on the ground inside the very empty, bodiless room, there was a very large tiger.

"Where did that come from?!" Hana asked, though I couldn't look away from the tiger eyeing me. I was captivated by the color of it's sparkling, ocean blue eyes staring me down.

"Laina?" I breathed, stepping closer.

"Genji, what are you doing?!" A voice hissed behind me, but I watched the tiger stand. As it did, I knelt down and stared into the blue eyes, the eyes I would recognize anywhere.

"Laina, is it really you?" I whispered and reached out, holding my hand over it's head. When the tiger stood and sat right in front of me, I felt it's spine and felt the scar, the four branches of the scar, and saw the recognition in her eyes.

"How?" I asked, eyeing the tiger.

"Genji-"

"It's Laina, this is Laina." I cut off Winston, not looking away from the tiger in front of me.

"How?" Angela asked, but I shook my head.

"How do you know?" Hanzo asked, not that I could explain it. I just knew.

"It's her eyes." I said, which wasn't a complete lie. As I eyed the tiger, I heard a female voice I'd recognize from anywhere.

"Genji, you stare at my eyes that much?" I blinked, taking a moment to realize the tiger actually spoke, this was actually Laina.

"I- what the hell?" I whispered, hearing her laugh as my brain registered the tiger laughing.

"It's a long story." She said and I stood, stepping back.

"Am I allowed to leave the infirmary, Jack?" She asked and I looked at Commander, who cleared his throat and nodded.

"Good, I guess I have some explaining to do." She said and stood, walking out of the infirmary with a grace only Wrench could have.

"Why the fuck is that tiger talking?" Hanzo asked and I eyed him.

"How the hell is Wrench a freaking tiger?!" Brigitte asked, but I shook my head.

"I believe she said she would explain." I said and went out, following the blue eyed tiger to the lounge. Once there, I watched as she hopped up onto the loveseat, laying there and watching as we slowly filed into the room and settled.

"Is it really you, Laina?" Jesse asked and Laina nodded.

"It is, though no one has called me that since Jack told Genji my name. Genji was the last to call me 'Laina'." She said and I saw a few eyes on me.

"I guess I should explain the tiger thing, hmm?" She said and, if a tiger could, she was smiling.

"I suppose I should start with my past, and my scar. To start, I know Roadhog mentioned the experiments I went through, and they weren't a failure. They were a complete success."
