Twenty One

I walked into the room then smiled as I saw Rat and Roadie getting settled together.

"Hi, boys." I grinned and Rat ran to me.

"Laina, this place is so nice-"

"Laina!" I turned and smiled as Jesse came over.

"Sorry to bother, but Genji needs ya." He said and I nodded.

"Be right there, Jesse. Rat, you behave." I warned my friend and he grinned as I followed Jesse.

"Is there a problem?" I asked the cowboy, but he sighed.

"He just said he needs ya. Didn't say what for." He said and I nodded, following him. It wasn't until we got to the cafeteria that I realized only Roadie and Rat weren't already here, all of Overwatch was here.

"Uh, what's going on?" I nervously laughed, eyeing my boyfriend as he beamed at me with a very not innocent look on his face.

"I have a surprise for you!" He said and spread his arms, making Hana, Brigitte, Mei, and Reinhardt hold up signs that said 'Will You Marry Me?'

"Genji?" I breathed, staring at the guy with hair dyed green again.

"Uh, will you?" He looked very nervous now and I saw all eyes on me as I licked my lips.

"You're such an ass." I laughed then saw he looked worried.

"After all this, you had the audacity to ask?" I laughed and saw everyone preparing for a fight, but Jesse laughed.

"Genji, I believe she is telling you 'yes'." He said and Genji visibly sagged as he came towards me.

"Really?" I nodded and heard cheers as he smiled and hugged me.

"You're an idiot for thinking I'd say no." I whispered as I held him close. As he stepped back, Hanzo came over and handed his brother a little pouch, which was opened to reveal my engagement ring.

"How did you manage to get even him on board?" I asked, eyeing Jack, and Genji shrugged.

"It was all Roadhog and Junkrat who planned this." He said and I made a mental note to beat the duo later.

"That's why they kept asking me to help them." I said and we celebrated, my best friends eventually joining us.

"Mako, air!" I coughed as he hugged me, making him let go.

"You did good for a beast, Laina." He said and ruffled my hair, making me smile.

"I guess I did." I whispered and looked around the room, smiling as I saw how happy my family was, felt how happy I was, and when my eyes met his, I felt my heart swell.

"Then kiss your damn girl before I do!" Jesse yelled, slamming his book shut as the audience cheered when Genji kissed me, making me officially Laina Shimada. At the reception, I noticed Gabriel Reyes, who had mended things over with Overwatch and had disbanded Talon in favor of joining forces with Overwatch again. After we had been legalized again. As I eyed the man, I saw him look at me then sadness filled his eyes.

"Genji, I'll be right back." I said and my husband nodded as I stepped away from him, going towards Gabriel.

"Hello, Mr. Reyes." I smiled and he forced a smile.

"Mrs. Shimada now, I guess. Hello." He said and I smiled as I held my hands behind my back.

"I don't hate you for shooting my side and nearly killing me. Or Genji, or Hanzo, or- wow, I'm making this worse." I laughed and he grinned.

"Thank you for forgiving me." He said and I nodded, standing next to him and eyeing the crowd.

"You know, I noticed a certain someone checking out your ass earlier!" I whispered and he immediately looked over at Jack, who was talking to Hana and Mei.

"Nope!" I said and he looked confused.

"Think more... Hispanic." I said and he looked at Sombra, who was "discreetly" eyeing us.

"Sombra?!" He asked and I nodded.

"She's got a thing for you, Reyes, and I know you're not fully straight or- wait, what is your sexuality?" I asked and he smirked.

"Technically and formally, I'm bi-sexual."

"Informally?" I asked and he grinned.

"Pansexual." He said and I nodded.

"Beautiful, just beautiful." I said and saw Sombra making her way over.

"You talk to her, and you get her into your bed or I'll kick you ass. Pregnant or not." I said and saw his eyes widen.

"Wait, you're-" I was already walking towards Genji before he could finish his sentence, but as I walked, I saw the romance blooming around the room. Jesse and Hanzo were in the corner flirting, Jack was obviously falling for Mei, Hana was chatting up Lucio now, even Mercy was talking to Widowmaker. I smiled and stopped next to my husband then put my hand on his arm, going past him and towards the balcony overlooking the ocean.

"Laina?" I heard Genji call me, but I only turned my head towards my shoulder as he stood behind me, the wind rustling my curled hair and the setting sun casting it's glow over us. It was damn near magical.

"Are you alright?" He asked and I nodded as I turned to him, holding his shoulder.

"I'm amazing, Genji. I-I have a family who loves me, I'm married to a man I love and who loves me just as much-"

"Maybe more." He grinned and I softly laughed.

"Maybe more than I love him, the beast is quiet and content inside and I'm not fighting for control anymore! I-I have a brother-in-law who is falling in love-"

"I thought I was the only one who noticed Hanzo and Jesse." He grinned, making me giggle.

"No, Genji, you're not." I whispered and shook my head.

"There's so much I have now, so much I never had before." I whispered and held his cheek, admiring him. Scars and all, I loved every part of this man.

"So? Why did you come out here if your family and happiness is inside?" Genji asked and I smiled.

"Because, I wanted to tell you something." I said and he nodded.

"We're having triplets."
