"How's your side?" I looked at Jack then softly smiled, pulling my shirt over my stomach.

"Mostly healed." I said and looked over my shoulder at Genji, who had been in here for the last five days.

"How is he?" I asked, but Jack sighed.

"We're unable to figure out why he shut down, but we're working on it-"

"I'm putting in my resignation from Overwatch." I said and looked at Jack, who looked shocked.

"Why?" He asked, but I shook my head.

"I-I don't belong here, Jack. I belong in the outback with Jamie and Mako, I belong with them working on old bikes and-and little junk we find." I said and looked at Genji again.

"I can't hurt anyone there." I said and looked at Jack.

"I'll stay till the end of the week, but I'm not staying-"

"The end of the week is in two days, Laina." Jack whispered and I nodded.

"My name is Wrench, not Laina." I said and went past him, going towards my room, except Hanzo grabbed my arm and threw me against the wall.

"You hurt my brother!" He snarled and I glared up at him.

"And you are a man innocent of hurting Genji?" I asked, which I knew wasn't fair to him.

"He's in the infirmary-"

"He was nearly dead the last time you drew your sword against him!" I snarled and shoved him back, seeing some of the team crowding the hall now.

"Don't worry, I'll be gone by the end of the week anyhow." I said and went straight to my room, locking the door so I could pack my bags in peace.

"Laina?" I heard at the door then I took a deep breath, going and opening it to Brigitte.

"Commander Morrison says you're leaving-"

"I'm not staying, I can't be here." I said as I shut the door, locking it as I went around, collecting my things. I groaned as my side hurt, instinctually grabbing it, then Brigitte grabbed my shoulder and I looked at her.

"You can't even pack without being in pain-"

"I have to go, Brigitte. I've done more damage here than I ever did with Rat and Roadie." I said, but she shook her head.

"You don't know-"

"Don't know that?! I don't know that I've caused Genji to hurt?! I hurt him, Brigitte-"

"You brought Hanzo out of his guilt bubble, you got Commander back here, you- fuck, Laina, you've done more good than bad here and I know if you go back, you'll be how you were!" She said and I nodded, licking my lips.

"Yeah, maybe that's for the better. Thieving, killing, tinkering all I want, the heat? That's how I lived, I loved how I lived. Being here, pretending I didn't want to slaughter every single one of you? Yeah, I think I'm better here than I was in the outback." I smirked, seeing her trust in me shattering in her eyes.

"So get out, Brigitte, get out and don't try to convince me to stay." I said and she turned, leaving and slamming the door behind her. I took a deep breath then turned, looking at my hand and seeing blood on it.

"Dammit." I whispered and pulled my over shirt off, ripping the bandages off and grabbing my staple gun. As I stapled my side, I groaned in pain, but I took a deep breath and grabbed the bandages, putting them back on. I took a deep breath again then grabbed my bloody shirt, putting it on and finishing with my packing.

I walked towards the ship then stopped as Lena took my bags, taking them on so she could fly me home.

"Wrench?" I turned to Mei then smiled as she offered me a hug. I grabbed her and hugged her tightly, holding her close.

"You're the only one who hasn't pissed me off in some way." I softly laughed and she giggled as she backed up, looking at me.

"Can we convince you to stay?" She asked, but I shook my head and sighed.

"I'm going, there's no stopping that." I said and looked over as the team came into the hangar, coming to say goodbye. I also noticed quite a few sour looks as well.

"This is your last chance to stay, Laina-"

"I'm going, Jack." I said and he nodded, sticking his hand out towards me.

"Then, I hope you have a good life." He said and I smiled as I shook his hand.

"Hopefully I never see you guys again. It'll mean you need my beast, and I'd rather forget being a hero. Can only play pretend for so long." I smiled and let his hand go, looking at Brigitte and Hana to see them very upset.

"Weird to think I actually hated this place." I smirked then turned, going up the ramp towards the ship.

"Did you hate everyone?!" Hanzo asked and I turned to him then smiled as I remembered his dark eyes and dyed green hair.

"Maybe." I said and turned, going to the ship and sitting as Lena closed the hatch.

"Do you have a specific location in mind?" She asked and I nodded.

"Junkertown, please." She nodded then lifted the ship, flying towards my old home. When we got there twelve hours later, she let me out and I went to the small shack that was mine when Jack found me. When I walked in, I smiled when I noticed it was the same as I had left it.

"Wrench?!" I turned then smiled at Jamie as he stood there, eyes wide and hair still sizzling.

"Hey, Jamie." I said and he squealed, running over and hugging me.

"What're ya doin' back?!" He asked, stepping back and eyeing me.

"I needed to come back, those heroes could entertain me for only so long." I said and he grinned as he sat on my couch.

"I'm glad ya back, mate!" He giggled as I set my bags down, sitting on the couch next to him and relaxing in the familiarity of my home.

"Yeah, me too." I whispered, closing my eyes and laying my head back on the couch.
