"I'm late, I'm late, I'm late..." Barry mumbled to himself, his head down. He walked across the street this way, moving past many people. Barry Allen was a young man, somewhere between his late teens and early twenties, with short, black hair.
He ran into someone, lifting his head up to meet their eyes. It was a woman about his age.
"I'm sorry, I'm late," He explained. He stared after her as she went to her car, and, remembering he was late, entered the building in front of him. It was a pet store, and he was interviewing for a job there.
The manager stared at him, arms crossed.
"I'm so sorry I'm late. The bus didn't come, then it did come, then there was this old lady counting change for the bus-"
"Resume?" the manager cut him off.
"Resume? Oh, geez," Barry said, realizing he was rambling. He pulled a very crumpled piece of paper out of his pocket. He stared at it, reading it was too crumpled to be of good quality, but the manager grabbed it out of his hand and started reading it anyway. Barry looked outside at the girl he had seen earlier. Her car was driving down the street, but Barry noticed a massive truck driving across the way, that eventually collided with her car, sending it flipping over.
Everything started to move in slow motion. The barks of the dogs in the pet store, the people meandering about, all except for Barry, his shoes breaking as he spun his whole body to face the crash. He ran away from where the manager was standing almost completely still, touching the glass with his finger. It bent to his touch before finally shattering as he stepped out.
The truck's trailer was flying, numerous fast food products pouring out of it, and in the center of it all was the girl. He looked in her eyes, enchanted. Looking to the side and doing some quick thinking, he grabbed one of the flying sausages and put it in his pocket. He then picked up the girl, placing her on the ground below him. Time returned to normal as her car exploded a few feet away from where she was laying.
Barry quickly sped back to the pet store, leaving the girl behind as she took note of everything that had happened.
The manager looked around, trying to locate Barry. He was sitting with the dogs as they crowded around him and licked his face.
"Oh my god, I hope everyone's okay!" he said, pulling out the sausage. "You know, it's because of times like this that I always bring a meat snack when I walk dogs." he pulled part of the sausage off and gave it to one of the dogs. The manager looked at him with surprise.
"I start on Monday?"

Bruce and Diana had been watching the footage that had been found on Stark's drive for a little while, trying to figure out where the other two metahumans were. They had located the one who had appeared on the security cameras. His name was Barry Allen.
"I'll find Barry," Bruce said. "You find the other one."
Diana was watching the footage of the other metahuman they had yet to meet. "The Tesseract rebuilt him as a machine. He's a Cyborg."
Reviewing the footage of Barry Allen, Bruce recalled why he had looked so familiar. Barry was the man in the dream.
"What's going on?" Diana asked, seeing that Bruce was thinking hard.
"I had a dream, almost like a premonition. Barry Allen was right here, and he said to me, 'Wanda Maximoff is the key.'"
"To Superman. Every heart has one."
