I published the Prologue and the first 10 chapters of this book on April 17th, 2021. I finished the sequel on February 13th, 2022. For 10 months this story ran. It took me 10 months to complete the story of (Y/N), of Wanda, and everyone involved in their story.

One major inspiration to this book was Specter by WilsonsWits. Shout out to him for writing an amazing story that helped me craft my own.

I think it's safe to say Monsters is its own beast now, with almost 130k reads since its publication. It was my first story on this site, and so far, my most popular. I've had avid supporters since the beginning, and I want to thank everyone who sticked around to the very end.

Now it's time for me to ask a few questions.

-Who was your favorite character? Who do you think I wrote well?

-What was your favorite moment in the story?

-Overall, did you like Monsters or Monsters II better?

Now, with that out of the way, I'd like for you to ask your own questions about the story. I'll do my best to answer each and every one.

Well, that's it for now. I think the story has come full circle.

Oh wait.

There's one more plot thread I haven't tied up yet.

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR MONSTERS II INBOUND

Connor followed his father into the woods.

"Dad, what are we doing out here?" The teen asked. It had been several years since (Y/N) reset the timeline and saved them all.

"It's time for you to know something about my past," (Y/N) said, leading him up ahead. "Well... our past."

"You mean when you went back in time to stop Darkseid's war?"

"Yeah that. Well, before that happened, Bruce had a gift for you. And now, I think it's only right to give you this."

They came to a stone cliff, appearing seemingly solid from the outside.

"We're here," (Y/N) said. "Follow me."

Slightly hesitant, Connor followed (Y/N) and the two of them passed through the cliff as though it wasn't there. It was fake.

"It's a hologram," (Y/N) explained. "But this... this is the real thing."

Connor looked up in awe.

It was a cave. Dark, filled with bats, and with computer screens and advanced tech at every turn.

"This was Bruce's base of operations," (Y/N) went on. "His Batcave. But now it's yours."

Connor turned to his father in awe. "Does that mean...?"

(Y/N) nodded.

Connor nodded back. "I'm Batman."
