It was the 31st of July. Yejin and Hyun Bin were about to go through testing times in their relationship. News suddenly broke out in South Korea at around 7pm KST from a Chinese news outlet that Hyun Bin has reconciled with his ex girlfriend and are both currently living together.

Hyun Bin's agency regularly checks anything related to him on social media, if they see something they don't approve of they request that it gets taken down. Hyun Bin gave them permission and trusted that they would handle it better because he couldn't see it as he never had any SNS. They would let him know only when it was serious

It was a few months back when these rumours started circulating. His agency never took them serious as they thought it's one of those delusional people trying to associate Hyun Bin with his ex again and hence never told him about it.

KKT immediately called Hyun Bin but couldn't get hold of him. He called Yejin

"Yejinssi I assume you've seen the news, I'm sorry you have to deal with this. I can't get hold of Hyun Bin, have you talked to him?"

"I last talked to him 6 hours ago. He is on set filming now. I don't think he has his phone. Let's not bother him with this right now and wait until he is done"

"Ok I hear you, but calls keep coming in from reporters asking for clarity. Since I can't find him I have no choice but to deny the rumours without his go ahead"

"Ok oppa"

They hung up

Yejin's phone kept buzzing with calls from friends and family

She accepted her mom's call

"Hi baby, are you okay?"

"I'm fine Omma" she tried to be strong

"What is going on baby?"

"It's just baseless rumours coming from China omma. He dated her ten years ago and it seems like there are some people who still want them to be together, they started creating fake rumours. I was with him the whole time before he left"

"Yeobo, give me the phone" her father said to her mom

"Eon Jin, are you fine?"

"I'm fine appa, don't worry about me"

"How can we not worry about you, you're our little girl of course we worry"

"I'm fine I promise"

"How is Tae Pyung?"

"I haven't talked to him yet, he was about to start filming the last time we talked, he's not aware of any of this. Please don't bite his head off appa"

"What do you take me for Eon Jin, I know that hurting him means hurting you too and like you said it's not his fault"

Yejin was glad her parents were understanding

After talking to them she checked the group conversation from her friends all comforting her and asking if they should come, she responded

"Thank you, I'm fine but a little exhausted, I won't be good company. We'll talk tomorrow. I love you all"

They all respected that she needs to be alone

Just then she received a call from his mother

"How are you my child?"

"I'm fine eomeonim" Yejin said but her voice betrayed her, it was breaking. She started sniffling and Mrs Kim knew she's crying. Ever since she saw the news, Yejin has been trying to act strong and act like the news didn't affect her but she couldn't hold it anymore. Her chest was heavy and it was difficult to breathe, all she wanted was to talk to him but at the same time didn't want to disturb him. Hearing his mother's voice felt like she's closer to reaching him. Mrs Kim let her cry it out for a few minutes, this was breaking her too she felt sorry for her daughter in law
