Chapter 20: missing and reunited

Summer's PoV

Today I'm going to do something with my life, shock of the century. I've realised that I need to get up off my lazy arse and get a job as I've never had one and I need to stop just taking things from Louis and the boys. I got a GCSE in hair and beauty so I might do something with that. But first I need to get out of bed, that might be a challenge. I look over to where Louis would normally be but he's not there. Weird. I finally decide to get out of bed and I smell bacon, yes! I walk down the stairs and see Louis in the kitchen making breakfast. I go up to and hug him from behind.

"Whatcha doing?" I ask kissing his neck.

"Well I'm making you breakfast and it's supposed to be breakfast in bed but miss curiosity came down stairs and ruined it" he says and I laugh.

"Sorry but the smell got the better of me" I say and sit at the table.

"What's the plan for today then?" Louis asks putting the bacon sandwich on the table.

"Well there's a salon down the street that are looking for workers and I need to start doing things for myself more and not relying on you's to feed and keep me here" I say and take a bite out of sandwich.

"Cool and you don't need to"

"I know but I want to" I say and smile at him he nods and carries on eating.

"Harry and Courtney are going out today" he says

"Aww they're so cute!"

"Yeah I know"

"Right I'm going to go and get ready, see you later and I love you" I say and kiss him

"Love you too babe" he says and I walk out the room and wonder what to wear. I finally decide on a plum skater skirt a white crop top and a denim jacket and of course my white converse. For my makeup I put on a plum eyeshadow, winged eyeliner,mascara and my finding nemo lip gloss. For my hair I curl it and I'm ready to go.

"Bye guys!" I yell and get in my car and go to salon. When I get there I notice the sign is still there and I walk in the salon and I'm greeted by a gorgeous blonde girl who asks who I'm here to see.

"Hi, I've noticed that you have a job going here and I wonder if I could speak to the manger?" I ask and she smiles.

"That would be me, and come this way" she says and i follow her into a room. "Hi I'm Claire and you want this job?"

"I'm Summer, and yeah I did a hair and beauty GCSE and I got an A. My friend is doing an apprenticeship and I've been learning a few things from her so I was wondering if you let me do an apprenticeship and have a job here?"

"That's good and you seem determined, I like that. And your hair looks great by the way. Yes we are able to do the apprenticeship and let you have a job at the same time. Considering that no one else has came in giving you the job and you can start whenever you like" she say and smiles.

"Thank you so much! What about next Monday?"

"Yeah sure, it was nice seeing you today Summer"

"Thanks again and it was nice seeing you too" I say and walk out the door with a smile on my face.

I get back to the house and go in skipping. I pass Becca and she looks shocked and confused.

"Who are you? And what have you done to Summer?" She asks laughing.

"Bitch. And I've got myself an apprenticeship and job at the salon down the street!" I say squealing Becca smiles and squeals with me.

"Oh my god! Well done! I'm so happy for you" she says and we both carry on jumping.
