I really started to like this school, started to fit in and make friends. After school I walked with Anne and Diana,talked a bit then went home. It's nice that I already have that much friends with in a short timeline. Mom was at work so I decided to clean the house after I'd change my clothes.

I was at my room doing homework when I heard some noises from downstairs. I went to check "Mother?" I said "Darling I'm back and this is my assistant G-" "Gilbert Blythe" I interrupted her "You know each other?" Mom asked a little awkwardly "Yes mrs Victoria we study at same school." He says and I nodd "Well that's pretty good. And while Im making dinner Betty please show house to our guest."mom said "Okay mom"

"You're room is very beautiful" Gilbert said "Thank you" I said smiling "You play piano?" "Yeah I do" "That's good actually. And you HAVE to teach me some day." "Oh have I?" I said "Yes. Please? I just wanted to play piano when I was little" he said "Oh Blythe , If you obligate I will teach you some day"I said And we started to laugh. "Kids dinner is ready!" Mom yelled from downstairs "Coming!" I yelled back "Ok let's go" I said We reached to door and I wanted to open it when me and Gilbert at same time grabbed the handle of the door and our hands touched. Was this the first time I've touched hands with a boy, no it wasn't, why it is more awkward then ever? I don't know.

"this was very delicious Mrs. Victoria" Gilbert said "thank you Gilbert" mom said "Ok if you're done now we can go to library, and I'll give you the book that you need" mom said And then they went to library and I started to wash the dishes. When I was done they already came back. "Thank you so much Mrs. Victoria for this book it will help me so much" Gilberts said "You're welcome Gilbert, I have some copies of this book so it's Fine you can have it"mom said I noticed that it was my dad's last Written book. I was surprised that my mom gave it to Gilbert because mom never gave that book to anyone even our long lost relatives "Okay, it's late So I think that I should go home and I hope that someday you will come to my house to have a dinner too." Gilbert said "yeah we will come someday Gilbert and now goodbye." "bye Betty" he said "bye, see you tomorrow" I said waving at him. I noticed that mom was looking at me and laughed a bit. "What?"I asked "Nothing nothing" she said After my dad passed away, I started to avoid boys and even didn't talk to my classmates, so I guess this was new for my mom. After that I want to room changed and did the last part of my homework,went to moms room said good night to her, prepared my dress and Ribbon for tomorrow and slept immediately because I was tired.
