Gilbert's Pov I started to think what Lizzie's mom said to me and decided to take her advice. When I came to the clinic I heard Winifred talking. "Hmm? It was an accident you say? Oh, you're awfully handsome when you are contrite, Mr Bones. I can forgive." She said to the skeleton I cleared my throat for her to notice me. "Here for the show are you. Just a ticket for one?" She asked when she turned to me "Mr bones do you have tickets? Im afraid we're all sold out. Good day Mr Blythe." She said and got out of the room "Good day Miss Rose." I said and followed her "If Mr Bones is alright with it, might you accept an invitation to tea?" "That sounds lovely,oh careful" she said when I accidentally hit the wall ꧁ ꧂
"Would you like some?" I said pointing the sugar "Oh no, not for me. Thank you" "So uhm Winifred, how... old are you?" She chocked on her tea and said "Is this your first time, Mr Blythe? You never went out with Mrs Brown's daughter?" "Well not like this but, what gave it away?" I asked "Why dont I talk you through this? I pour, you pay. And don't ask things like that." "Hmm. Seems like you've done this before." I said "And I've always been bored, shall we start over?" "Miss Rose, thank you for accompanying me to this... tea place. Isn't it lovely?" I asked "Isn't it? I do enjoy the blossoms.Perhaps I think its time we should go back" she said wanting to leave "Oh I know this part." I said standing up and going to pull the chair. She tripped and accidentally gripped my hand. "I'm sorry I thought-" "The best part of knowing the rules is finding acceptable ways of breaking them." She said and let my hand chuckling"you have much to learn" "I expect I'll need a second lesson." I said hoping us to meet again She hummed and started to walk. I picked up the flower from the vase and went after her.

Lizzie's Pov Today Anne went to the orphanage where she stayed to find out who her parents were. It's evening now and I'm going upstairs, to Anne's room to see how she is. When I was close enough to her room I heard her cries. I knocked on the door and she told me to come in. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked "Yeah yeah Im fine" she said wiping her tears away "You dont seem okay Anne. Did you find nothing about them?" I asked "No" she said, sat on her bed and started to cry again "what if they're not dead, but I was not loved, and t-they never wanted me" she said crying harder I sat beside her took her hand in mine and said "hey look at me Anne, how can your parents just leave you? You're a wonderful person and everyone loves you. Even at the worst case that they didn't love you, look around you now, we love you. You have a new family till the end. And we'll never leave you." "Thank you for being here Lizzie" she said and hugged me "Always Anne" i said and hugged her back
Some time later
"So today I went to Charlotte town with Gilbert, and he look quite different you know, happy but in a different way." Anne said "What do you mean by that Anne?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows "Just ask where he got his flower okay?" "Flower? Where did he find a flower at this time?" "I don't know" she said

When I got home I saw mom just taking off her coat so Out of curiosity I asked her where she was. Worryingly mom looked at me and said "Well. I was at Gilbert's, Mary's ill, there's no cure for her honey." "Does that mean that she's-" I tried to ask with tears forming in my eyes "Yes, I'm afraid so" she said and hugged me while I started to cry. Mary just had her daughter, i think that's unfair to leave this world as a newly became mother.
