Today is my birthday. I woke up from the sound of a horse. I was confused because I knew that It was early and no one drove horses at this time. Groaning I stood up from my bed and walked to my window. I opened my curtains and saw Gilbert sitting on a horse, when he saw me he waved. I waved back and started to get dressed. After getting dressed I went outside and saw him standing next to the horse with a beautiful gypsophila bouquet. "Happy birthday to the most amazing girl" he greeted me "Thank you" I said as he kissed me and handed the bouquet. "You know I am very happy that you came and surprised but its like 6 in the morning, it's winter and its very cold" "Okay stop complaining, I am taking you to a special and beautiful place." "Okay" I said chuckling "just wait until I will grab a coat."

To be honest I was freezing, but being with him made me all warm. He was riding the horse very calmly but at the same time very fast. I hooked my arms around him to not fall and we continued our ride. Five minutes later we arrived and the place was very beautiful. The trees the snow on them, the big firs. It was worth freezing . "Its so beautiful here Gilbert" "I come here often" the hazel eyed boy said "I wanted to say something to be honest, that's why I chose this place." I rose an eyebrow for him to continue And looked into his eyes. "Lizzie you are the only I want to be with till the end of my life, you make me happy, you make me feel Important, loved. You are the most amazing, caring and loving person that I've met. I love you and I wanna be with you. You are the only one I truly love Lizzie, only you." "Same with me Gilbert. I really love you. Only you" I said as he softly kissed me He looked into my eyes with a soft smile. "Okay but can we go now it's really freezing here. Please?" I said as he laughed and nodded "But" he said "But what?" "You're the one who's going to ride the horse." "Really?" I asked squealing from excitement "Ladies first" he said pointing to the seat of the horse.

When we arrived to my house I suggested going inside and drink tea, he agreed. When we entered the house it was very dark inside. "Why it's so dark here?" "Maybe the curtains are closed?" We entered the living room and suddenly the curtains opened and I saw my friends who stood there "Happy birthday!" They all said in sync

"Thank you guys" I said and we all hugged "Of course it's a pleasure to see all of you hugging but the food is ready guys" mom said I looked at her, she came to me, hugged and said "Happy birthday honey" "Thank you mom" We sat to eat when mom called Gilbert her office. I don't know why tho, but I think it's about the clinic.
Gilbert's POV "W- what?" I asked shocked "why?" "Gilbert, it's for your own good. We can offer you nothing in the future." She sighed "I'm going to work in clinic, but I'm selling it to Winifred's dad." "But that doesn't matter, all I want is to be with her, I don't need anything from you Mrs Victoria." "Yes Gilbert, you don't need anything now, but in the future you will. And two of you will have nothing, and it will be too late. So do what you have to do Gilbert, tell her, but not today." "I can't do that." I said "You have to darling, you have to tell her that you are breaking up with her."
Lizzie's POV We had a really great time. We were talking, eating, telling jokes and laughing. I can admit that this is the most wonderful birthday that I've ever had. The morning ride with Gilbert had made my day. I noticed Gilbert coming out of my mom's room. And I got concerned. What would they talk about this long?I called him over. "Hey everything alright?"
