As we arrived to the Charlotte town, we started heading to my mom's clinic. Everyone was looking at me like I was an Alien or something like that. I hated it, why can't it be normal that a woman is wearing pants.
"Hello how can I help you?" A women's voice said as we entered the clinic
"Oh hello Im Mrs Brown's daughter and he is her assistant." I said
"Nice to meet you Im Gilbert." He said and kissed her hand, and at that moment I felt something that I never felt before. What was it? Jealousy? No no and again no. I can't feel anything like that.
"Oh yeah and my name is Betty." I said and shook her hand
"And Im Winifred nice to meet you both." She said
"Do you know where my mother is?" I asked
"Yes she's in her cabinet."
"Thank you." I said and started to head to my mom's cabinet
Knock,knock
"Can I come in mom?"I asked
"Yes yes ofc." She answered
"Hi mom." I said entering the cabinet
"Hello darling."she said " Im glad that you came, I finished my work for today already and I wanted to go to buy new dresses with you."
"Great, let's go now." I said as she nodded and we started to get out.
When we were getting to the main door I heard Gilbert and Winifred laughing and I started to fell it again and I'll admit that.This is jealousy.
"Gilbert,Winifred me and Betty are heading out so close the doors and windows when you'll head out,and Gilbert bring me the keys when you're at Avonlea." Mom said
They nodded and we went out.

Mom bought me 3 new dresses and 2 for her. I came to my room with boxes. After I placed them to their places I realized that my bracelet is not with me. Oh no. That was my favorite,
the one that my dad gave it to me. I started to panic and looking everywhere. It's not at the house. Oh myy. Where is it. I hope I didn't lost it forever.
Gilbert's POV
I was gonna to close the cabinet's door but then I noticed something. It was a shiny, silver bracelet on the floor. Who could've left it here? I ask myself, and I suddenly remember that I saw this on Betty's hand. I picked it up.
After closing everything I picked up the keys and went to the station.

Knock knock
"Door is open!" I heard Mrs Victoria shout
I came in and saw Mrs Victoria cooking dinner at the kitchen.
"Oh Gilbert it's you, come."she said
"Hm yes i brought the keys."
"Great leave it on the table." She said and I did so
"As you see Im making dinner so stay." She offered
"Oh thank you very much." I thanked her
"Betty is at her room so you can go there while I make the dinner." I nodded and went to her room.
Knock knock
"Come in" she said
As I entered I watched at her face. Her eyes were puffy and red a bit. Was she crying? Maybe she helped her mother to chop the onions
"Hey" I said
"Hey"
"Is this yours?" I said as I showed her the silver bracelet.
I saw her eyes go widen as she stood up.
"Yes! Its mine. Im so glad that you found it i thought I lost it" she said and started to tear up "Its the last thing that I have from my dad."
Oh well i guess she was crying and not chopping onions from helping her mom.
I stepped closer to her and gave her the bracelet. She was gonna take the bracelet form me, when I raised my hand as she couldn't get the bracelet she look at me with curiosity
"I think I need to be rewarded ." I said with serious face but obviously joking
"Oh yeah of course, how much?"
I laughed and then said "Remember when you promised to teach me how to play on piano?" I asked and she giggled. She was so cute at that moment.
"Yes I do."
"Good, and now I think its the time that you need to teach me."
She chuckled and said "okay come and sit here" and she pointed to the piano.
"Okay so the easiest thing is gammas and im gonna teach you that." She said "place your hands like this"she said and showed me, I tried to do the same " no not like that" i felt my face goes red as She placed her hand on mine
"like this."
Then I saw that her face was red too she opened her mouth to say something but Mrs Victoria shouted from downstairs
"Kids! Dinner's readyy!"
After that moment I understood that I started to catch feelings for Betty even if those are not right, because she is my friend.
