Today I wanted to explore Avonlea, and I definitely didn't wanted to be lost so I needed to go with someone. That's why right now I am knocking Anne's door. Someone I didn't know opened the door. "Uh Hi" I said awkwardly smiling "Hello, you must be Elizabeth, I am Matthew." The man said kindly "come in" "Thank you" I said "Anne is in her room" he reported "It was nice to meet you Mr Matthew" I spoke "It was nice to meet you too, and call me Just Matthew" he added After that I went upstairs to get Anne and leave together. "Hey Anne" I announced myself as I opened the door "Hey Betts come in, I'm already ready I just need to tie my hair bow and we'll go" she said as she went to her desk to get her bow

"Well this were the shops, there are some good things here. There is where the river starts and is the entrance to the forest." Anne introduced me to the city "Thanks Anne" I said as we walked "if you're tired tho I can take you back to your house, I remember where it is" I claimed "No, no, Im completely fine" Anne responded with a smile "come let's go to the forest" after that she started running to the forest and believe me when I say that I suck at running I pretty much do. Even tho she wasn't running that fast but in this long dress I couldn't help but be much slower than I usually am. And suddenly I realized that I've lost Anne in this big forest. I stopped for a minute to catch my breath and started to look around. The leaves were bright green as I started to walk, it was very calming. The squirrels were chattering as I looked at them. "Anne! Anne!" I started calling her name considering that without a guidance I would be lost in here. "Anne!" I shouted once again but no response "An-" Suddenly I bumped into something, maybe I didn't notice the tree? "Of course Im not Anne but can I help you Betty?" In a flash I heard someone's voice and I realized that I definitely didn't bump into a tree. After the realization hit me I immediately gasped and went back. "I am so sorry Mr-" Then I saw who it was "Gilbert? Oh Im sorry I didn't see you coming" I apologized "It's okay don't worry" he said smiling then continued "are you lost?" "To be honest, yes. I was with Anne then I just lost her, and here I am in the middle of the forest alone, until I bumped into you" I chuckled "Do you want us to look for Anne together?" He offered "No, no it's fine, I think she's already at home, but thanks. I think I'll go home now. Sorry again for bumping and Bye!" I said in a rush and started leaving. That was before I realized that I have no idea where I'm going so I turned back and immediately noticed the smirk on his face that said "you were saying?" "I don't know how and where to go" I pursed my lips and look at his hazel eyes "Well I do" he said the smirk not leaving his face "what the two of you were doing at the forest anyway?" he asked as we started to walk "Well she was showing me around the city then we came her, and I lost her." I exclaimed "Well lets continue the trip shall we?" He inquired "We shall, if you won't kidnap me of course" I sarcastically asked "Well I am thinking about that" he said as we laughed

"This is the best place to look at the sunset" He said as he sat on the ground "You know that you can sit here too right? It's free" he remarked sarcastically "Here? On the ground?" I said with a tone "I don't want my dress to get muddy you know" "Oh really? What do you want me to do about it? Offer to sit on my lap?" He spoke "Wha- of course not, who do you think I am?" I reported annoyed "Calm down" he said chuckling "I was just kidding, just sit I'm sure you can wash it later" "Fine" I grumpily said and sat And there was it, the sunset. It was like as if the huge, stunning, golden bird drifted out of sight, its wings releasing ethereal glows and its silhouette slowly faded, as it left behind it a stunning purple tint. "It's beautiful isn't it?" He asked "It is" I answered smiling as I looked at him "I think I should take you home it's getting late" He said standing up and offering his hand to me I took his hand and stood up "thank you for bringing me here" I said to him "No problem M'lady" He spoke
