Christmas finally came. I am really exited about today, because it's mine and Gilbert's first Christmas together. I think it's quite important for us as a couple to celebrate it together, I think every couple does that. I was going to Gilbert's house to invite him, Bash, and Mary to come and celebrate Christmas together. It's a cold winter day and everything is covered in white fluffy snow, and everything is quiet. I could walk all day to just enjoy the beauty of the nature but its really cold. When I got to Gilbert's house my hands and nose were all red from freezing.
Knock Knock
Bash opened the door "Hello" I greeted him with a smile "Hi" he said "Come on in Lizzie" "How are you feeling Bash, how's Mary?" "We're both good thank you, what about you" he politely answered "I'm good, thank you. I wanted to Invite you to have Christmas dinner with us" I said "We would gladly come but since it's mine and Mary's first Christmas together we would like to spend it together." "Oh okay, what about Gilbert. Is he here?" I asked "Actually he is not and asked to pass you this letter" "Oh, okay thank you. I think I will go now" i said As I was leaving I turned and said "And Merry Christmas, Bash" "Merry Christmas to you too, Lizzie"

Gilbert's Pov I was supposed to celebrate Christmas with Lizzie of course, until I had the conversation with her mother the other day. I was really surprised when she told me told me to break up with her daughter, the girl I love. So instead of going to her house I went to Charlotte town to meet with Winifred. If I had no chances with Lizzie then I should follow Mrs. Victoria's advice. That's obvious that I didn't want to, but I need to think about my future and how will I live.
"Hello Gilbert." Said Winifred
Of course her voice was sweet and charming but she was not the person who's voice I wanted to hear.
"Hello Winifred" I said back
"What are you doing here on Christmas day, do you really think someone will come to clinic today?"
"Well there is no one to celebrate Christmas with so I thought maybe J could come here." I said. "Well I dont think anyone will come so maybe you should come over" she offered. "Really?" "Yes why not my family would love a company" she said smiling. "That would be great, thank you for the offer" "It's only a pleasure for me"

Lizzie's Pov After going to Gilbert's house and finding out that he's not there I went to Anne's house . The last time I saw her was at my birthday. And walking a bit too much I was so cold that my hand froze. 'what a wonderful day to not wear gloves' I thought. When I got to Green Gables I was so happy that no one can imagine, I thought I was going freeze to death. I knocked on the door and Marilla opened the door. "Oh hello Elizabeth, oh girl come on in you look like you came from Antarctica" "Hello Marilla, thank you for letting me in" I said as I entered the house "Is Anne home?" I asked to the old lady while taking off my coat "Yes she's upstairs, in her room. Go until I make tea" "Thank you Marilla" I went upstairs and finally started to feel the heat. As I came to Anne's room I knocked on the door and asked,
"May I come in, Anne?"
"Yep" The redhead answered.
"Hey Anne" I said stepping into the room, her room was small but the walls, the atmosphere could never give any negative energy, you can tell.
"Hey Lizzie, how are you, uhm your face and hands say that you came out of a storm" she said chuckling
"I'm perfectly fine Anne, what about you?" "Same here" she said "come sit with me" she said patting her bed for me to sit next to her "So how you've been?" I asked " I don't know, I started to study for the exams already for college" "I literally forgot that we're going to college next year, imagine me you and Diana being roommates." I said "That would be perfect" "True" "I can't Imagine my future life without you, or Diana. Lizzie, you two are my best of friends" she said and we started laughing. "I think I like Charlie" she blurted "Ahhh yes, I knew it. Before you say anything he likes you too, for hundred percent." I said and we started laughing again until Marilla called us. "Girls tea is ready come downstairs." "Coming" Anne yelled.

For Christmas few families gathered together at our house. I really like the company that sat around the table. The smell of the food, the candles, the cheerful people, the smiles on everyone's face really screamed "Christmas". Of course I would be more happy if Gilbert was here with me today but I have my mom, my two best friends Anne and Diana with me. So I'm happy as always. When we were eating someone knocked on the door and I went to open. "A letter for Elizabeth Brown" the man said "Oh that's me" i said and handed the letter to me "Merry Christmas Miss" "Merry Christmas to you too" He left and I closed the door when mom asked "who was that honey?" "Just the mailman mom" I answered "Okay" she said and went back to sit around the table. I opened the letter and started to read. The letter was from Gilbert.
My Lizze, I am in Charlotte town right now, as there are some business here I might stay her for a day or two. Don't worry tho. I will be back soon, you won't even miss me. With love Gilbert
