The man I saw in the woods was named Norman, one of Theo's advisors. He held a grand funeral in his name, which his family attended. It pained me to see his children weep over him.
I had never met Norman but Theo told me that he was trustworthy and intelligent and he didn't deserve to die.
Theo had everyone in the castle interviewed, just incase anyone knew anything. No one did. And there was no evidence pointing the crime to anyone. It frustrated me, that someone would do something so horrible to an innocent man. Atleast, I thought he was innocent.
"Morning Yasmine." Jack approaches me
"Hello Jack." I flick my hair off my shoulders
"Any plans for today?" He adjusts his black shirt collar
I ponder "Just hanging around, I guess."
He nods "Shame what happened to Norman."
"Yes, it is." I reply
His eyes shift from mine to the floor back up at me again
"You don't know anything about it do you?" I raise an eyebrow
He narrows his eyes a little "No anymore than you sweetheart."
"Your majesty, the king has asked for you." A woman servent tells me
I nod at her and she leaves
"I should get going." I say to Jack, who's eyes were already on me
"Yes, I suppose you should." His voice sending chills up my spine
I nod and turn and walk to Theo and I's room
I push open the two, large double doors and step inside
"Darling." Theo smiles at me
He walks over to me, dressed in a white see through shirt and black pants
"Theo." I smile at him
He kisses my lips so tenderly, I don't want him to stop
He pushes my body into his as he deepens the kiss
"I've missed you."
