"You're love is as bright as ever, even in the shadows."

"Mother?" Gia says from infront of me

"Hmm?" I mumble as I finish braiding her hair into a large braid that goes to her bum

"Did you and father have a fight?" Gia asks, as she reads her book on her lap

"More of an argument." I lie

"Grayson says father was so angry with you that he destroyed his library."

I roll my eyes and tie Gia's braid with a hair band

"Your father," I start, not knowing how to say it "He has trouble keeping in his anger sometimes."

"Oh, do you still love him?"

I giggle at my sweet daughter "Of course I do Gia."

"Gia!" Grayson shouts from outside my door "It's bed time!"

Gia quickly kisses my cheek and runs out

I chuckle and start to get undressed, getting ready for bed

I don't even hear the door open, but I do hear it shut

I gasp and turn around, my arms covering my breasts

Theo was already looking at me but as soon as my eyes locked with his, he put his head down and walked over to our bed and took off his shirt

I roll my eyes and continue to get undressed

"You've gotten skinnier." Theo's voice mumbles from behind me

I turn around, my long, curly hair covering my breasts

"Oh, so you do acknowledge me." I fake a smile, then turn back around, heading to my closet for my pajamas

"Well, you're my wife. I kind of have to." His voice snarls from behind me

I clench my fists as I pull on a white shirt and Theo's boxers

"Am I some sort of a burden to you?" I raise my voice a little

"You haven't noticed yet?" He acts shocked

I laugh, almost falling on the floor "If that is so, why not let me leave and return to my country? Why keep me here if I'm such a burden?"

His eyes narrow, he knows I have won this battle. But, being the stubborn person that I am; I continue to pester him

"You coward, you need me." I chuckle "You couldn't survive without someone there for you, when you need a shoulder to cry on. You pathetic sonofabi*ch."

His knuckles start to turn white, and start to bleed by how much he clenching them

"Do it, hit me." I walk towards him

"Stop, Yasmine please." He whispers to me

"Do it!" I scream in his face

He yells, cursing, moving away from me and punching a wall

He curses and throws furniture around the room

I gasp, realizing that he was going mad. And it was because of me.

"Theo!" I scream, running up to him

"Get away from me, I'll hurt you!" He yells at me as he throws priceless jewels across our room

"T-theo stop." I choke on my tears

"All I want is you, Yasmine! And you won't give me a chance! You've never loved me!"

"Are you mad?! I love you more than anyone!" I scream honestly

"You're lying!"

Theo's face is red and he is honestly scaring me

He gets on his knees in-front of me and wraps his arms around my waist, holding me close

"I don't want to be like my father." He whispers to me, his head lowered

"You're nothing like him." I comb my fingers through his brown hair

"I am, I am like him."

I get onto my knees with him and hug him

"You're not. Henry was cruel and uncaring. You, Theo, you are such a powerful man. You're loving, you're kind, you're smart, and beyond."

He lifts his face and kisses me deeply

"I love you so much it hurts me." He kisses my earlobe

"And I love you."
