Lilith's face broke into a huge grin. It was finally happening, she was going to help the heroes. Nat led her to a locker room and showed her her gear. After Nat left, Lilith changed into the black, form-fitting suit and laced up her black combat boots. She pulled the silver chain of her necklace out from underneath the high neck of the top and let her hair down before exiting the locker room, nearly bumping into Natasha who had been waiting in the hallway.

"You ready for this, Flower?" Nat smiled as she spoke, clearly sensing her younger companion's excitement.

"I was born ready," Lilith giggled.

"The gear looks good on you, kid. Here, take these," Natasha handed her two loaded guns in a leather holster and a long silvery knife. Lilith put on the holster and stuck the knife in it's designated sheath that was strapped around her upper thigh before Nat continued, "Okay, these are for self defense, but you know that... you've been keeping up with practice?" Lilith nodded, confirming that her fighting skills were practiced as often as Natasha had instructed her to.

"Good," the red head continued, "Okay, you'll be in the quinjet with me, so hopefully you won't have to use any of this but, you know. Just in case." Lilith nodded.

"My dad is going to fry Fury on a stick, Nat."

"I know, Flower. But we need you in the field. Keep Loki calm once he's detained and all that."

"Okay. Let's go."

They met Steve at the quinjet and boarded quickly. They took off just minutes later and made their way to where Loki was with the tesseract.

When they reached their location, Loki was shouting at the huge crowd of civilians in front of him, commanding them to kneel. Even from the quinjet Lilith could hear his screams.

"I said KNEEL!" The crowd became silent as they got to the ground. Loki began to speak. Nat pushed a few buttons and flicked a switch and the sound of Loki's speech began broadcasting through the speakers in the quinjet. Lilith watched as the god of mischief spread his arms out wide and smiled at their obedience.

"Is this not simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel."

"Not to men like you," an elderly man said, standing up from the pavement. Lilith held her breath as she watched the events take place below where the quinjet hovered.

"There are no men like me," Loki claimed, a devilish grin playing at his lips.

"There are always men like you," the man said.

"Look to your elder, people," the god said, "and let him be an example."

"No!" Lilith's breath hitched in the back of her throat as she whispered the word, horrified for the man's safety. As Loki pointed his scepter at the innocent, the gem stone set within it glowing bright blue, Steve lunges in front of the man and deflects the lethal blast back towards Loki. The god is sent flying backwards onto his ass.

"Good timing, Steve," Lilith said softly into her earpiece. His voice replied with a 'thank you' before he turned his focus back to Loki.

"You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everyone else, we ended up disagreeing."

Loki stood, "Ah, the soldier," his thick accent making his every sentence just slightly more menacing, "A man out of time."

"I'm not the one who's out of time," Steve quipped as Natasha lowered the quinjet and aimed the aircraft's machine gun at the god's chest.

"Loki," Natasha's voice echoed out of the quinjet's exterior speakers, "drop the weapon and stand down."

"Oh shit," Lilith said as Loki shot another beam of energy from the staff, this time aiming for the aircraft. Natasha managed to maneuver the jet out of the way just in time. By now the crowd had completely dispersed and run off to safer places.

Loki and Steve collided with each other's fists, in full on hand-to-hand combat now. Suddenly Cap is on the ground, rolling until he reaches a standing position before throwing his infamous shield at the god. Loki swats it away as if it were no more than a bothersome fruit fly. Cap fights as hard as he can but is soon knocked down again.

"Kneel," the god commands.

"Not today," Steve responds with a grunt and they continue to fight.

"This guy's all over the place..." Nat says. Lilith chewed the inside of her cheek until she tasted blood as she watched the two men try to get the upper hand in their battle.

When the quinjet's speakers began blaring ACDC, Lilith knew they would be able to out muscle the god and detain him. She watched with a smile as Tony flew into view.

"Agent Romanoff, did you miss me?" Natasha rolled her eyes, but there was a clear smirk on her face that said she was amused by the flashy entrance the older Stark had made.

Tony Blasts Loki to the ground and touches down to the ground, firing up every piece of weaponry his newly modified suit had in it.

"Make your move, reindeer games." Lilith let out a small giggle at her father making fun of Loki's horned helmet. The god dropped his scepter and raised his hands in surrender. Tony smirked under his helmet, "Good move."

"Mr.Stark," Steve greeted.

"Captain," Tony said. He turned towards the quinjet, "Lilith."

His tone sounded angry. Lilith waved at him through the quinjet's windshield. She managed to squeak out two words, a sheepish smile tugging at her features:

"Hi, Dad."
