The god was playing absentmindedly with her hair when she woke, holding her close to him, "Good morning, Darling."

"Good morning," she smiled sleepily.

"How did you sleep?"

"Like a rock," she yawned, "You?"

"Oh, wonderfully."

"That's good," Lilith snuggled closer to the god and sighed contentedly as he continued to play with her hair.

"I think you are made of mornings, Darling. The light of dawn and the peaceful, quiet, beauty of a new day. The flush in your cheeks, the honey-colored flecks in your eyes... you are glorious, My Love."

"You two make me sick," A voice called from the doorway.

"Gods, Val!" Lilith yanked the sheet over her bare chest, "What the hell, how long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough to wish I'd skipped breakfast. You missed breakfast, by the way. It's the middle of the day. Lunch is in the great hall. See you there, darling." Lilith rolled her eyes and chucked a pillow across the room, smacking Val in the back of the head. The woman flipped Lilith off over her shoulder in response as she continued to exit the room, the door sliding shut behind her.

"Time to get up, I guess," Lilith groaned, rolling over to cuddle closer to Loki.

"Do we have to?" The god wrapped his arms around the woman's shoulders, holding her. \

"Mhm..." Lilith hummed. She tilted her head upwards and pressed a kiss to his jaw before rolling out of bed, pulling one of the blankets with her and wrapping it around her body as she walked around the room, picking up bits of discarded clothing off the floor. She threw the heap of fabric at a chair in the corner of the room and walked back to the bed, where Loki was still lounging.

"Get up," she told him, placing a kiss on the top of his head.

"No."

"Loki."

"Yes, Darling?"

"Get up."

"Make me."

"You're so annoying," she said, failing to hide the smile forming on her lips.

"Now you know how I feel." Lilith gasped in mock-offense but continued to move around the room, picking her outfit for the day out of the brightly colored wardrobe the Grand Master had gifted her. She decided on a flowing dress the color of a clear summer sky, made of gossamer tulle and shimmering crystal beading. She slipped on a pair of silver strappy heels, applied her makeup, and braided her waist-length hair, all before Loki pulled himself from the warmth of the bed.

She saw a flash of green out of the corner of her eye and when she looked over, Loki was fully dressed in a black and dark-blue version of his usual leather ensemble, a black cape with yellow lining appeared behind him.

"Lazy," she chided. The god walked over and pressed a kiss to her temple, making her smile. She tucked a few decorative pins that matched the beading on her dress into her braid and sighed, "Ready, love?"

"I suppose," Loki responded. The pair left the bed chamber and made their way through the Grand Master's palace. When they reached the great hall where lunch was being served, they were greeted by the sounds of laughter and booming voices and what Lilith assumed was Sakaarian music. There was a great number of people in the room, as there had been when Val had first brought her to meet the Grand Master. At least fifty different alien species roamed the hall carrying drinks and food, talking and laughing and eating.
