"Dad? We're in the field, what's the situation?"

"Agh!" Lilith's brow creased in confusion as the pained grunt sounded through her earpiece.

"Steve, you got incoming."

"Incoming already came in."

"I can see we all know how to do our jobs."

"Lilith on your-"

"My right," She unsheathed her swords and sliced a drone into thirds in the time it took her father to finish his sentence. She placed her weapons back where they came from.

"You're over qualified. Why couldn't you work at a burger place like a normal teenager?"

"I'm not a normal teenager. Clearly. Is the air getting kind of thin?"

"Yeah, the city's taking off, Lee Lee."

"Tony, work on bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt 'em back. You get killed... walk it off."

"Sounds like fun," Lilith said, rounding a corner, "Hey, Pietro. You need a minute?"

The silver haired teen scoffed, "No I'm good, I'm great. Just a little out of breath."

"You ready to kick some titanium ass, hot stuff?" The speedster perked up at her words, clearly getting his hopes up.

"Did I hear correctly? Did you say I'm hot, Lilith?"

"Burning," Lilith deadpanned, rolling her eyes at him, "Let's go."

He motioned for her to climb on his back and she obliged, holding on tightly so as not to be whipped around as her ran. "We're all clear here," Clint said in Lilith's ear piece.

"We are not clear here!" Steve said, the sounds of metal clashing behind his voice, "We are very not clear!"

"Alright we're coming to you," Clint responded. Pietro sped towards where the archer stood with Wanda.

"I'm setting you down, Lilith," He placed her on the ground and scoop Wanda up instead in half a second, shouting to Clint, "Keep up, old man!"

"Nobody would know," Clint said, pulling and arrow back in his bow, "Nobody." Lilith smacked his shoulder.

"Save it, Robinhood." They began jogging after the twins.

"Last time I saw him Ultron was sitting on him. Yeah he'll be missed, that quick little bastard, I miss him already."

"He's right though," Lilith said from where she was running a few feet ahead of him, "You are slow."

"Next waves gonna hit in a minute," Steve was saying as they jogged towards the rest of the group, "What do you got, Stark?"

"Huh? Nothing great. Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface if you guys can get clear."

"I asked for a solution not an escape plan." Lilith listened through her ear piece, terrified though she had yet to face the battle field.

"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're gonna have to make a choice."

"Cap, these people are going nowhere," Nat said, sounding defeated, "If Stark finds a way to blow this rock..."

"Not until everyone's safe," Lilith interrupted, parting ways with Clint to reach different members of the team, "And I mean everyone. We don't throw away lives for an easy way out, do you understand me?" Her voice was authoritative and commanded compliance.
