Chapter 2

Axel's P.O.V.

I hid behind a bush at some clearing in the middle of the woods. I watched as Samuel picked up some leaves and dumped them on the ground beside her. She picked up something and that's when i realized what it was.

A knife.

She was gonna cut herself.

I watched as rolled up her sleeve. She had bandages all around her wrist. She undid the bandages and put on top of the leaves. I only realized what she was at when she got ready to cut her wrist.

Without thinking I ran out into the clearing.

"Sam! STOP!" I yelled. She looked over at me, shock written all over her face.

"Please leave Axel." Sam begged.

"No, not when you're about to kill yourself." She frowned as i said 'kill yourself.'

"I'm not killing myself." She protested. I pointed to a scar.

"You almost killed yourself there." I pointed out. She looked down at where my finger was pointing sadly. "Why?''

"Fuck off." She pushed me then ran off in the other direction.' This'll be fun,' I thought as i started to chase her.

"Leave me alone Axel!" She yelled over her shoulder.

"No! Not as long as that knife rests in your hands!" I yelled back. She stopped running and i skidded to a stop behind her. She turned around to face me, the knife in her hands. She held it out to me, and i took a step back to avoid it's sharp blade going through me.

"Take it." She ordered. I stared at her shocked, before taking the knife from her hands. I threw in the river that i had no idea was there up to now and watched as it landed in the water and sunk to the bottom. I looked back at sam and saw her turn to run. I grabbed her wrist.

"No." I said firmly. "You're coming home.''

"But Tony's pissed..." She broke down in tears. Did she cut herself because of Tony being mad at her? That's a silly reason to almost kill yourself though... I decided it was best to ask her later.

I pulled her into my chest, not knowing what else to do. I rubbed her back as she cried into my chest.

"Shhh. It's alright. Tony's not mad..." I whispered soothingly into her ear.

After an hour, and i mean an hour, she calmed down.

"Let's go back." I said gently, not wanting her to breakdown again. Roxas tends to start crying again if talk to loud after he cries. Not that i've seen him cry before...

She nodded, agreeing with me.

"Axel, can you carry me?" Sam asked. I sighed.

"Sure." I replied. She walked around me and jumped on my back. I wrapped my arms around her legs and she wrapped hers around my neck to prevent her from falling.

"Now where the hell do i go?" i asked.

"Back the way you came, got it memorized?" she replied. I looked back at her in shock as  she used MY line. I let slide and started to retrace my steps.

"Thanks Axel." She whispered in my ear then laid her head down on my shoulder. I smiled at her just as i made it out of the woods.

I was glad i stopped her, I was glad she was okay. But i still needed to know why does she cut herself. I left it alone once again, afraid to ask for she might break down in tears on the sidewalk on an overly busy street.

Better then the last one i hope O.O well i ws having troubles with my compu on the last chapter so half the things i wanted to say in it didn't get to go in. But there's one idea i absolutely have to do. *Grins evilly*
