( A Way Inside The Palace )

In the past few minutes I stayed here, I end up telling Bora which it is her name, the truth about the necklace. She always nag and it annoys the hell out of me.

"Hm, I get it now. Maybe it has something to do with the issue long past years ago"

Looking at her, I say.

"What issue"

"10 years ago, rumours started flying about the king impregnat a servant. We never knew it was really true when another rumour spread about that servant was killed by the hand of the king's superior"

And so? What's the point? It's nothing to do with the necklace.

"I just don't get it. Why did the necklace fall into your hands?"

She look at me like she was searching for something and then her eyes got big.

"The king might gave it to the servant who he got pregnant to, and maybe you're–"

"You've got to be kidding me"

The King's daughter? Huh! I'd rather be dead than to be born royal. I hate all royals and governments. They  destroy my home and my only family. And she's telling me now about this...what? Theory?

"We can't be sure"

"I am sure!"

I remarks.

"Besides, the story said that servant was killed by the King's superior, so why in the actual hell would I be the.......the?"

"You've got some point. Well I can no longer help you. But, I still have this feeling"

I rolled my eyes and drink the coffee she poured me minutes ago.

"Go to the palace"

Caught off guard, I look at her.

"What am I supposed to do inside the palace"

She sits down opposite to me.

"The late king's superior. He isn't the type of person to kill somebody. I work at the palace over 6 years, his superior, Lord Ti Yu, is a very kind hearted man, even though he is a noble who works at the palace he never treated low people a trash. So, what I've been saying. He can might help you"

I think for about a minute, I don't know if I could trust this lady but she had connections inside the palace. And now after all the story she told me, somewhat inside me also feel this strange feeling.

I can't tell, and I don't wanna know what is it. I still have my goals. I work so hard to be in this place I can't back down now. And besides after all of this, I might just die as well.

Being a good person was my dream when I was little, saving the world and helping people. But I guess that's not me anymore. Even though I prayed thousands of prayers. I'm not going to heaven, not with all the blood poured in my hand, all the life I've taking for hundreds of people.

I sigh

"Is there a way to get inside the palace?"

After delivering the goods to the palace kitchen, we decided to deliver the rest goods for the city's shops tomorrow and just chill the rest of the day, today.

The palace grounds are so much busy than before, there are a lot of soldier. I was once a soldier in this Kingdom too. Once.

The opportunity which is the King give me. I did pretty well during those years of training, he was a good man, a good king. He always listen to his people, outsiders will always be welcome.

Poor people was treated well. And for all those lucky people, I considered myself the most luckiest ever. No one but be gotten closer to the king except his superior.

He said I look like his younger brother who died from a very bad illness. His a cheerful man, always smiling and laughing. But then all of it became dull and empty.

I hardened my grip at the saddle. Heavily sighing, I look up. I hope you're doing well up there with your brother my King.

"What's with the sigh mate"

"It's nothing"

"Yeah, Yeah. Wanna head out to the bar club and hook some pretty lady?"

I hit the back of his head. This shit always do and say crazy stuffs. I might  don't like him sometimes because of that, but that part which makes him....him.

"I leave the party hook up to you"

Rubbing the part of his headi I hit, he said.

"Er...you're no fun"

I shake my head laughing slightly. I look up ahead and saw a commotion at the palace ground gate.

Akina?

I run to where she is and saw another lady yelling at one of the guard. Akina didn't mind the situation and just stand there watching the lady.

"What's going on here?"

Akina look at me as she scoff. What was that all about.

"Are you stalking me now?"

Amused by her remarks, I thought i might want to tease her a little bit.

"What can I do? You drag my attention only to you"

I said smiling proudly. While she only shoot daggers using her eyes at me. I don't know why but I really like the fact that I always annoys her.
