"Double time everyone! There's no time left! The Queen and Princess will be arriving soon!"

Yes, the Queen and Princess were arriving today from other nation. We're preparing the welcome party for them for almost 2 days, and until now it's not almost done.

Never on my life I've been these active, even though Lord Ti Yu told me it's ok to not join the preparation. I disagree, I might be the King's daughter but I won't just sit and do nothing.

Putting silverware on the table I ran back to the kitchen to get what I needed I even almost bump into one of the maids. Remind me not doing this again, it's so frustrating.

Why did the Queen wanted a welcome party anyway? When they can just arrive, announce their arrival, then that's it.

They're making this a very big deal. Never thought this is what royalty felts like. And no I'm not gonna be like this. Wait a minute did I even agree on being royalty at all?

No, Yes. Argh, whatever.

Just sticking to the plan. I don't know what will happen in the future, but I'm sure it was reflected to the present. So I'm going to do my best not to screw things up and just believe we could win this.

After many, many hours the whole palace was completely well decorated with red, yellow and white theme. The color of the Kingdom.

Just in time the superior announce all workers inside the palace to change. Can't blame him, we all smell like trash and was completely look like a trash.

We bowed before leaving to change, they only gave us 20 minutes so I hurried up.

"The Queen and Princess will arrive today, and I'm excited but just a little"

Nai come up to me as we both hurried to get to out dorms.

"Why just a little though?"

"Well, I haven't seen them in person actually they never visit the town. Not like King Chen, he always spare time to have greetings to his people"

Thinking what King Chen or my Father rather do in his time as a King. I can't help but feel proud at him. For a Father that I haven't meet since I was born, I only heard stories about him by other people and all his story are good and all about how he manage his people and his role perfectly.

"...And they said the Queen is a mean"

She continue, I snorted by the words she pick.

Letting the only 10 minutes in changing I manage to make it to the assembly on time.
They told us what to do and what not to do when the Queen and Princess arrive.

The guards are outside the palace, making two big rows for the Queen's carriage, and us maid are inside the palace also forming two rows so the royalty will walk in between.

The palace gate open and a golden carriage make it's way to the palace ground. The guards bowed down as it ride past them. The carriage stop just a few feet away from the very wide stairs.

Some high rank people come to open the carriage door and I didn't see who came out.

Nai on my side tap my elbow, as I look at her.

"Don't stare"

She whisper, as I realize my attention was focused outside. I look in front of me, standing straight. I can't help but to look at the Queen.

What kind of person is she really? Lord Ti Yu told me she had something to do with King Xhu Ban, was her daughter a part of this too?

I notice from the corner of my eye that each maid, made their bow as the Highness walk past them. Soon enough a woman wearing a dark blue gown walk past me as I bowed down then another white gown walk past.

Later on I hear many horse carriages are approaching. Guest are starting to arrive as well.

Looking back up, I notice Lord Ti Yu approach the Queen. I can't hear what they're talking about, but Lord Ti Yu signalled something on the kitchen manager. Our manager snap his finger signalling us to serve the foods.

I turned around but before disappearing to the kitchen I manage to take a good look at the Queen .

She was there sitting on the throne looking very powerful with her fierce face. Her golden hair was tied up in a very neat bun as her crown sit still on her head. The very dashing dark blue gown manage to make her hair and skin tone much more visible. From her age, she still manage to look very beautiful.

Beside her, was a very beautiful girl in a white gown it must be the Queen's daughter. Her curly hair was just hanging to her waist, a bit more light yellow than golden, her skin was much more paler. Her beautiful crown was also in her head.

This is them, the Queen and Princess of Jen Chi. To an average royalty they look very much right to their role. Except the terrorizing look from the Queen.
