I knock at the office door, Lord Ti Yu says 'come in' and I let myself in his office.
"Your Majesty, what can I do for you"
Lord Ti Yu stands up and bowed to my presence and went back to what his been doing with a lot of papers in his desk. That sure a lot for an old man like him.
"I just wanted to ask a question Lord Ti Yu"
"Now, now Your Majesty, it's not necessary to call me Lord at all. You can call me Ti Yu or Yuka, that's what your father always call me"
He said laughing a little.
"Will, I feel comfortable calling you in any names, I'd be sticking on calling you Lord Ti Yu, is that ok?"
"Ofcourse Your Majesty"
I swift a little.
"And, don't call me Your Majesty, I may be the late King's daughter but I'm not that kind of type yet, it's making me uncomfortable"
Lord Ti Yu stop from what his been doing and look at me.
"With all due respect your Majesty if you aren't comfortable by those, then can I call you Lady Akina instead?"
I nod. It's better than those Majesty.
"Now what would you like to ask me Lady Akina?"
He motion me to sit down which I quickly do so, can't blame me. My whole body was aching from those training awhile ago. I swallow my saliva first before saying.
"Its just that, did the Queen know about this underground training?"
"She does not know anything about this My Lady"
"How come?"
Lord Ti Yu stands up and grab two cups from the cup shelter and lour each cup a coffee. And he sit down opposite to me.
"If the Queen knew about this, she would immediately make this stop and punish every men in this field, and beside she work for the King Xhu Ban, and they're planning a war. In order to win this battle I undergo a secret training, each men in this field knew about what's been going on. I know we are out numbered for the fight, I don't know what to do just yet. But I'm sure will find a way"
I stayed silent for a moment. There's actually 10% of winning this war. This is what I'm afraid of, but I can't back out now. Like what Lord Ti Yu said, they'll come up with a plan. And I'm trusting that.
"Can I ask one more thing? Why do you pick me to be the one who will rule the battle?"
He take a sip from his cup before answering my question.
"I didn't pick you 'cuz you're the late King's daughter and soon to be a Queen, NO. I pick you because you have potential, you have courage, you are brave, and a very determined woman, you are strong. We're not depending on your skill of fighting Lady Akina, we're depending on your words to us. Tell us what to do in the battle. I knew you can do it, you're just like your father, a determined man. I remember he doesn't want royalty at all, instead he wanted to be a great warrior who likes to save people. You two are the same, I hope you can see the courage I see in you Lady Akina"

After the talk I had with Lord Ti Yu, I sigh heavily. I only see myself as a close similar to a hostile who kill people. I always tell myself I did what is right, but now I'm starting to doubt that it is wrong.
I sigh again for who knows how many sighing I did this day.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
I look up to see who talk, and it makes me groan the moment I laid my eyes at Kai.
"What do you want?"
"You"
"Excuse me?"
"I mean you, what are you thinking that make you sigh like that"
He sit down next to me. I'm currently sitting at the edge of the big gate where there is no guards are roaming. I found this a while ago after finishing my training I started exploring the palace myself. Not minding if I'd get lost. And I found this perfect spot.
It's a high wall gate located at the very back of the palace where the view was the forest tree and not that town.
Its peaceful, just what I exactly need right now.
"What do you think will happen if the war will come"
"There will be a lot of blood that will be shed on that day, and I'll tell you it's the darkest day that will happen."
"What will you do?"
"I'll fight with all my might, I joined Lord Ti Yu's army because I know the death of the late King has something to do with the Fa Tan's emperor and the current Queen here in Jen Chi"
The sun is setting, the beautiful colour of red, orange and purple are visible in the sky. Such a pretty sight, is this will be the last beautiful view I'd be able to see before the bloody war?
And I'll tell you what, it will be worth it to see this beautiful horizon. Who knows, I might die in the battle, I might not be able to save the Kingdom. I'm going to let everyone down.
"Does the other guards know about this?"
"Absolutely no"
"Why? Why didn't Lord Ti Yu let all of them join the army?"
He look at me.
"That's not how it works My Lady, if all the guards are aware of this there's a chance someone might betray Lord Ti Yu and tell the whole plan to the Queen. And besides if we gathered all the guards for a secret training the Queen would notice"
I crutch my nose on the line he said 'My Lady' its cringe I'll tell you.
"Now, you're aided with them! Calling me My lady"
"Why not? You are the-"
"Oh hush it!"
He laugh at me and I only glare at him.
"What do you want me to call you then? Sweetheart? Dove? My Lily? My Love? My sun-ok just what I've said I'll call you Akina"
He quickly change it when he saw my eyes shooting daggers at him. If only looks can kill, this man will be dead shot.
But it's nice talking to him at all. I smile and look back at the horizon.
"Its getting late, we should head back"
I nod, and the both of us went back to the palace.
