You walked back to the car where Veronica was waiting.

She had a big grin on her face. When she saw you walking towards her so soon and alone, it dropped to a confused expression.

"What's wrong? What did he say?" she asked as you opened the car door and jumped in.

"He didn't say anything."

"Is he giving you the silent treatment?"

"I have no idea. He wasn't there."

"I have an idea," she said and started up the engine.

You thought long and hard on the car ride what you were gonna say to him.

You arrived outside a familiar studio.

You heard loud drums, muffled by the thin walls.

You smiled.

"Thanks, Roni this means a lot," you say more confident than before.

"No worries. If John and I were going through this, I knew you would help." she looked over at you and smiled.

"You can do this. Go get 'em," she whispered.

You gave a slight laugh to her words.

You stepped out of the car. your feet hit the pavement.

You closed the door and looked at the grey blurry building. It was tall but short in width.

"Wanna come here our practice?" Roger asked one morning he had to go meet the band at the studio.

"Sure why not!" you said pulling a shirt over your head.

"It's mostly bickering about songs and it doesn't always sound the best hence the practice part but it'll be fun."

"I don't care what you sound like, I'll always love you." he ran over to you and tickled you and you turned around a kissed him.

Seeing his face. Every detail of his beautiful face. You feel back on the bed and lost track of time.

He missed his studio practice.

"Where were you?" Freddie called and Roger answered.

You could still hear Freddie's muffled voice through the speaker of the phone.

"i-um Y/N's cousin died." he lied.

You giggled.

Freddie got mad at him for missing practice.

Brian got furious, knowing Roger was lying.

Brian was very smart. You knew he wanted to be an astronaut a-a you forgot what it was.

Astrophysicist.

He was the smart one in the band.

Roger was a lot smarter than people thought though. He was excellent at math. He often helped you in your math class in college.

It was your least favorite subject.

Freddie was a genius. He had the most incredible lyrics, you couldn't even believe he wrote them.

The "cowboy song" (Bohemian Rhapsody although it wasn't called that yet) was amazing! He only had bits and pieces but my lord what a fucking lyrical genius he was.

You walked up to where you knew the door was.

You reached for the handle.

Missing the first time.

You felt around with your hand. Your hand met the cold round handle.

You twisted and it wouldn't budge. You used more force. It was locked from the inside.

"KNOCK!" veronica called from the car.

You knocked on the door, once, twice, a third time.

The drums stopped. You heard the door click.

"My god, Fred you're quick I made a really fat mistake, and I-" Roger said opening the door.

He stopped when he met with your blind eyes, realizing it wasn't Freddie who apparently he had called to talk to.

Why not just talk to you?

"y/n..." he whispered in disbelief.

"hi." You simply stated.

"Come in," he told. You waved at Veronica.

She pulled away as you stepped into the warm studio.
